Thats a very good question, r5modi. I can only guess how this is decided. When you look at the "model of the month" Top 50 ranking (in profiles) it says that this is based on credits. Probably the model of the week is based just on credits earned too, only for a 7 day period (Monday to Sunday? who knows). Makes sense because the actual model of the week is in the Top 5 of the Model of the month and there is usually a correlation.
There is also a ranking of the Top 20 models actualized every 10 minutes reflecting the activity of the last 7 days. But here they talk about paid shows, VOD activity and virtual gift. If they would mean credits, they would write it. So this seems to be a different system of ranking.
I think the purpose of the site is just to have as many competitions as possible with unclear criteria. When you look at the flirt of the year competition from Oct to Dec you will find about 50 categories with rankings and prices and for about 90 % you have no clue how they are defined.
