If a majority of the models are comfortable with the curtain opening and closing thing (pervin as the regulars like to call it) then why fix what isn't broken. I would miss it if it was taken away, but ultimately the decision about whether to keep it or dump it should be left up to the models.

I always have wondered if the models could see how many credits I have when I take them private and Old Rocker confirmed my suspicions. I have taken many models private in the short while I have been a member. Like a kid in the candy store and thinking with the small head, I want to take more models private than my wallet can bear. Sometimes I'll enter a private saying I want to go for 10 mins, for example, when I have many more credits than that. Most models respect that but some others take forever to get started and I end up going much longer than I wanted and spending more credits than I want - especially if they can see the same credit meter I do. I am too nice a person to just hit "end show" because the 10 mins are up. I think that is very rude and disrespectful without "closure" and saying thanks and bye.

The point is that I am meeting many models and becoming friends but cannot take all my new friends private especially when I'm getting on the slow train sometimes and frustrated that there's not enough credits remaining for more candy purchases.

Back to the topic. I agree with the sales argument and maintaining the preview feature for the reasons above. However, I would not be averse to a model having the option to decide to share or not share the preview or VOD if the request is to pick a nose or some other weird request that he/she is not comfortable with anyone else seeing. I totally agree. The private pictures can be like our VOD pics, where we go back in and find a couple preloaded veiws and choose what the veiwers see. Im tired of giving away free shows, I think we really should have more say on what happens here. Lets start a movement, LOL.

three things for my

dubya, remember that as of now there is no tier system set up on credits (with the exception of promo days at the $100 mark) so buying the most expensive package does not get you anymore credits for your dollar than the cheapest package, so do what i do: only buy the credits you're going to use so you can eliminate the whole 'using all your credits to take off her shirt' issue. i also don't ever take a model pvt on the first visit. i like to find out how they act and whether she'll try and waste my time behind the curtain or not.

secondly, any member that has a pvt and feels that it's personal doesn't have to share it with everyone. under your personal vod page there is an option right next to each of your vod's that says 'don't share'. simply click that button and your pvt will only be viewable to you. if the models don't want to have their pvts recorded there is an option for that, but do remember that you do generate revenue (no matter how small it is it's still revenue) from each watch of a vod so not recording shows could be hurting your pocketbook in the end. i still watch my recorded pvts semi-frequently, enough to know that i've probably spent just as much on vod's as i have on pvts.

thirdly, i think the models should get to at least pick the thumbnail from each video so they don't look weird. just as a simple courtesy to the models more than anything. if we want to talk about advertising that's also a way of drawing people in. more than that i think it would be cool if the models could pick which vod's were featured on their main bio page so they could list the best of the best on there.


ultimately i have no real opinion on the whole curtain/video/pic thing. while i do see the point about dudes jerking it over the 5 sec curtain flash and the frustration from the model when the room suddenly goes from 30 guys down to 5, i also think that their is a point to be made about guys using the flash to decide whether or not to go pvt. in my opinion the guys jerking it in free are going to regardless and they are not going pvt, but it's the ones who actually use the flash as encouragement to go pvt that will be lost by removing the curtains and putting up still pics.
