Well to tell you the truth... Cinco De Mayo is just Spanish for 5th of May, A holiday more celebrated in the US than in Mexico.. However, I like Suggs explanation better, here it is... Once again, Good Job Suggs :thumbsup

Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England.

In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars ofthe condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York.

This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico. But as we know, the great ship did not make it to NewYork.

The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost. The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerlyawaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss.

Their anguish was sogreat, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.

The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course, as

Sinko de Mayo.

First CONGRATS TO BOTH WINNERS
Just a suggestion though , I have seen many promo's here and have see MANY times the same models winning .
Would it not be possible for the winner of one promotion to be excluded from the next promotion , just to give others a bit of a chance too ???
It just gets a bit boring to see the same models winning over and over ?
what do you think ??

i really like this idea because it allows more girls the opportunity to win. the reason why it seems we see the same girls winning all the time is because these contests are all about pvt minutes. so there's only a few girls that can actually win since a lot of the models have less total minutes online than the total pvt minutes of the girls who win. but there are some great models on here that don't get a shot at winning simply because they aren't on here every day.

what about the idea of some sort of percentage of minutes pvt kind of contest (with a tie-breaker being total minutes)? i understand the argument that some are about to make which is "what if some of these girls are online all day and no one takes them pvt?". Since that argument is just as legit as the one I'm presenting, how about rotating the contests every month and then having the "Model Of The Year" be some sort of combination of the two?

here's my suggestion for contests as a whole though: if the girl is going to be allowed to win she actually has to dress the part of the contest! so on 4th of july the girl has to wear some sort of red white and blue combination, labor day something white, secretary's day some sort of cute work outfit and so on and so forth.. just an opinion, just trying to think of a way to make the contests a little more fun!
