Last night I noticed Nastia being at number one in party chat tips, this morning I noticed that changed to Marissa Fairbanks (I think that was the name and CrystalX was number two) and now getting home from work I login and see that Sheryl actually won? I don't think you all made the contest very clear as it seems the only way to really win was not in each category but an accumulative total of pumpkins, regular tips, and party chat tips.Nowhere in the rules did I see this being stated,it simply looks as if a model can win in each category which now I see was not the case at all. This poor girl Nastia worked her heart (and vagina) out for 12 hours straight and put on some really great parties and everyone in her room (including her) saw her stay at the number one position and guys were even helping out with tips to keep her there. She logged off tired as hell but satisfied she had won and everyone there thought the same thing.
What it looks like to me is that we as the customers got a bit scammed and this isn't the first time this kind of crap has gone on around here.I remember another model who used to work here, confident she was winning a contest and stayed in first place and the contest ended with her being in the number one spot.Until the next day when oops, all of a sudden things were "adjusted" and she didn't end up winning after all.She was so pissed off I talked to her and she was going to quit here immediately until I talked her out of it (eventually she left anyways even if she was popular here) and this is just one example and a glaring one at that.It also is not very transparent that the totals are added up once every hour, well why is that? you lack the knowledge and software to calculate totals on a minute by minute basis? and why hide the numbers each girl has? well I do know why,its so we cant see whats really going on and like sheep we keep pressing that buy credits button thinking we are helping a model out when all that's happening is we are lining the pockets of VS and no one including the models has any idea whats going on until the next day when things are "adjusted".I personally will no longer be a part of any contest here, even if the top prize is one million dollars to the model I wont be involved and I am sure I am not the only one to see this total lack of transparency and obvious sleight of hand in these supposed "contests".I wont be involved in seeing girls work themselves to absolute total exhaustion thinking they have a chance when the truth is they are simply pawns in a game that's being played by this company to generate revenue from unsuspecting members using an underlying tone of "Help your model win!" to generate a certain "guilt factor" inside a members head if he doesn't help his model win. Most of us who have been around a while know who the real winner is in these contests and it isn't us or the models for sure, and while I don't mind companies doing what they can to make a profit I do mind when the game isn't played fairly and accurately with immediate results, not 24 hours later and 3 adjustments later to the top position.
Before I get attacked on this point I am not calling out any models that participated in this contest, congratulations to those who did win.I am simply venting a frustration with this company and problems with these contests and the complete lack of forthcoming that have gone on long enough. If I missed seeing something in the contest that stated accumulative totals is what wins for that day then please tell me,but If I missed something then a hell of a lot of other members did too, models included.
