i think it was a bad idea to start the "party chat"- mode on this site. There are too many guys who not only just voyeur the shows without tipping, but also ask girls to show her bodys or even to do things by promising to tip after the action. The girls spend a lot of time with fighting against these stupid beggers, it must be really annoying for them. They also loose their last bit of privacy- and beside, this kind of begging destroys all erotic atmosphere! I hope that the "party- chat" will be changed in some kind of "semi- privat"- mode soon... If you don`t pay, there should be nothing to see.

I see the main points are already discussed. But my point of view is still the same: There are always guys who miss any respect and make this mode painful for girls. Sure they have the option to only use PVT- mode... but lets face it: some models really need money and don`t have the option to refuse these possibilities to get guys into their rooms...

but after all: we are the customers and it`s on us to be honest...

you can please some of the people some of the time, you can please some of the people all the time, hell you can even please all of the people some of the time, but you can never please all the people all of the time.

look at it this way those who tip are paying a voluntary tax for those who swindle. rob from the rich give to the poor. after a summer of a bazillion contests those with lighter wallets had zero chance of winning, its a way of giving back to those lower on the totem pole who still show up n support their favorite models day in n day out.

unless you're a model, a boycott organizer, or the mis-led over jealous stalker type there really isn't any reason to cry over spilled milk. what's done is done. from a business perspective it makes sense. they are getting into their paying customer's pockets more. lets face it, even if you, you and you are swearing off buying credits until partychat goes the way of the stegosaurus, no one on the monetary receiving end is hurtin' from the move. and they are competing with like businesses, yes the pay4play genre has seemed to become a tad copycattish, but who's to say that there isn't a facebook/google type behind the scenes talent siphon going on, there might be as many staffers workin deux or trois sites as there are models. change happens, the models are already figuring out how to work the partychat to their own specific advantage, and the ratio of young whippersnappers who only know flirt with partychat to old fogies who remember the good old days when a pvt was a 60 credit per minute pvt and that was that is only going to favor the former as we hurtle through space and time so you got a choice to make.. cope or cruise. the choice will always remain yours.

happy tipping.. just be advised, throwing actual loose chane at your computer monitor is not recommended.

huh? who got ur undies in a bunch? tip if you wanna tip, bitch if you wanna bitch, partychat most likely isn't going anywhere. i'm not a fan of it, but it's a moneymaker, might as well see it for what it is. those who choose to tip, whether it be out of respect, friendship, or insecurity allow anyone who has signed up for their free 2 minutes to get their jollies. it's relatively new now, in time it will be outdone by something one step more risque. really doesn't matter who likes it and who doesn't, if you tip or not, there's plenty of purple money out there. if you are down enough with ur fave to not feel it necessary to tip in open, the random tippers got ya covered, if your an overtipper, there's someone less fortunate but just as horny out there that's grateful for your generosity.

1) it's the models who put the group pvt into partychat..although quite appreciative when they receive them, they don't ask for tips of 25 or fifty credits, they want 800 for assplay or whatever.

2) there was a model recently who received over 10,000 credits in tips during one night of partychat. That's not making money? My math skills have proven to be suspect in other threads, so i'm not touching it, but 10,000, even in pennies, is a lot of pennies. you can split 10,000 four ways and still make out ok. that's whay partychat is here to stay.

see party works camming is great businsess even with party chat. And for sure when newer model come they will be more open to party chat the ones with good established brand they don't need to change anything for a while at least.

...it`s a moneymaker for WHO? The models certainly don`t get rich by that! You don`t go to the supermarket and get things for free because someone else paid more than he should.

It's a vast moneymaker for both the girls and the site if done right. The models most certainly get very, very rich. Considering the following:

- on the site this tip system was copied from, the top 51-150 models average $5000+ a month

- the top 50 models all make over $10,000+ a month

- the #1 model each month will pull in $40,000-$60,000 for that month (yes, 1 month)

- highest documented tip for a model was $13,000 (that's one tip)

- even flirt's top record-holding model is by her own admission on flirt "rarely" now because she tripled her daily income by switching

That's just one site. In the past few months that flirt adopted a tipping format, three other big names in the live webcam industry have ALSO added tipping. These sites would not be doing that if there weren't vast sums of money to be made using that format.

So yes, it's a huge moneymaker. Just because certain people/models were against it from the outset and have bitched and moaned every waking moment since its inception doesn't change the fact that it can be quite lucrative for the site and the girls. Maybe the system on flirt is too restrictive, but that can always be fixed. And last I checked, no model was forced to log into party chat. According to a previous post some girl pulled in 10,000 credits, so it sounds like some are figuring it out.

Hopefully I've answered your question about who makes money in a tipping system. By the way, your supermarket analogy is one of the stupidest I've read...unless you cannibalize models, I don't know.

Some sites make huge profits just on party chats. Even those who say they are just for charity and for the good of models, do make a lot. Party chat is a bit like strip club isn' it? Only in club when you got more $ you get a lap dance here well 0 special treatment or go pvt.

What this site needs to make party work is more fresh blood on clients site. And perhaps the design is not optimal, it look well a bit old fashion. But that's personal opinion

And who get rich by it. Same who got rich with pvts, if you know what i mean. As in all business the one running it get bigest cut. and if you think it should be different. Open you own business, invest loads of money, time in it and if you finally start to make money give you income away to you workers see how good that feel or not.;)you could call yourself charity cumming :bulb

well.. in general.. i agree that party chat is a challange.. it CAN be an horrible experience for a model.. and for good customers.. but.. and this is very conditional.. IF it's done right.. by both the model.. AND the good customers.. you get Harley_Marie, omg.. Bianca_Jordan.. Sara_Lynn.. and some amazing text woven imagined scenes spun out in delightful detail...
