I am a newbie on this site. I've scrolled through quite a few pages of forum headers and read a few FAQs about etiquette on this site. Some of these have had negative comments about short PVT sessions. So I have a question: if a customer wants a short PVT session (2-5 minutes), is that a bad thing? I would like to hear what models have to say about this.

I understand that if your room is really hopping and someone wants a short session, that is a potential opportunity cost. But what if you are having a slow period? Assuming the customer is not being a jerk, is a short PVT better than nothing? Or not?

Having been around this site for many years, models will take any credits that you're willing to give them. Obviously, common sense applies in that it would be stupid to take a model who is at 90cpm if you only have 17 credits, like me.

Of course, what you do with that time is up to you.

it is up to you to make the members willing to stay. but better 30 seconds pvt like nothing.

Ten two minute privates are the same as a twenty minute private as paychecks are concerned, but the latter is (almost) always preferred. That's nine less times the model must ask what your name is or what you like. Nine less times they have to undress and dress. Nine less times to squeeze so much quality into so little quantity.

But..

Ten two minute privates are ten trips out of the public room. Ten times somebody ensured a number bigger than naught on a paystub. Ten opportunities to spend time with someone rather than a group of gawking onlookers. Every trip to the private room is appreciated, every tip a small thank you, every free boost or review an effort to support her. So no, a short private isn't a bad thing at all.

I think short shows are okay. It sucks going into it not knowing it will be short, but every little exposure helps you gain fans. Somebody who only does two minute shows may become your most frequent customer, or they may decide they really like you and do much longer shows.

A private is a private is a private... in my experience. I had a customer who gave me a 2 minute private once. All he did was ask me to take off my top and talk to him. He didn't have many credits, so it was short. But he came back that weekend and gave me a 20 minute show. It's always good to do what the customer wants, as long as it's in your comfort zone. It's customer service... make them feel special, important, have fun together, and they'll come back. I even have some regulars who come in to talk when they don't have credits, and encourage other members to give me shows and tips... Having a good customer base is important.

I have met some pretty fun people on here.

I think it's the thought of going into private that counts. No matter how short, a private is a private, and that is nothing to take for granted. It's totally understandable when a customer may not have enough credits for or may not be exactly ready for a full on private with a model. But either way, we are--or at least I am--appreciative of any private.

I just remember when I only started on here my first private chats were quite long and people were nice with me... it kinda got me relaxed and comfortable but then on my second or third day I had a two minutes session where I was really trying to do everything the guy asked and then he just left without saying thank you or bye... I was sooooooooo upset. Now I know he was probably using free credits (two minutes of a private session exactly) and I guess I am more thick-skinned... but then it was upsetting

usually if you make it clear to the model its a short pvt they are more than happy to oblige, obviously dont expect the whole shebang, you get what you pay for..have fun :jerkoff
