But sadly, as impressive as their civilization was...

As many wonders as they accomplished in their too brief golden age...

they were doomed.

For one day the hordes of models finally came to their peninsula. They could not be stopped. The civilization was completely overrun. The light winked out.

That reminds me of some famous ancient women. Their options weren't so good but they chose the difficult path to be strong and true. These were virtues that many of the men of their time admired.

The one who often chooses the difficult path must however take care not to choose the fanatical path. To take the struggle over-seriously.
