I thought I might get a better response here, as sometimes I think other models think I'm stupid...but I'm not, just not used to webcamming and even going on as a "customer"...

Ok, I've seen models asking questions about getting tips. So I asked my studio mgr if there is an option on my "page" for tips, and he said there is. Well, I went on f4f as a customer, went into some rooms, but never saw the "tip" option. Where is it? Does it not show up because I don't have any credits?

Thx, in advance, guys or any models who help me out here.

Also, since I'm asking about tipping...What makes you guys want to tip a model? I haven't been tipped yet.

Tipping option is only there when you take a model private, not in open room.

Since f4f does not make much on tips they don't have it in open room.

Tipping option is only in Private. Not in open, group or feature shows. If a member says they wanted to tip you but did not have the option to do so in private, that member needs to call VS support and they can add it to their user name. Tipping option automatically appears after a certain period of membership, but can be added immediately by request. As for why do we tip... it is basically a personal thing. Meaning that each individual decides on their own. Most members know, before they go into a show if they are going to tip. Based on prior performance possibly, on whether they have extra funds available to tip, or maybe based on the member enjoying your company in open. It is different for everyone, but don't think that it is because of you that you haven't gotten a tip yet. Most likely reason is that the member wants to save the money to purchase more credits. Think about reviews... many members absolutely adore certain models, yet never leave reviews. I hope I cleared this up for you and didn't just confuse you more :winkwink

I recall several years ago when f4f was in it's infancy, there was an option in the open room to tip. I was more inclined to tip back then. Sometimes a model might wear something I particularly liked, or I just had a good time chatting with her, I could give her a little tip for appreciation.

Just a little something for her time, but more economical for a pvt.

In pvt, well it seems time gets away from me lol. I can go in with 300 credits or 2000 credits, and they are gone in the blink of an eye. Funny how that works. lol

Rickster, I do agree w/you, though about being able to tip in "open chat"...back when I was trying to learn about this stuff, and visited another site, I tipped a woman (the option was there in open) just because I liked her down-to-earth personality and the fact that she smiled a lot and acknowledged everyone when they came into her room.
I wonder if VS used to have the tipping option in open chat, but then took it away...anybody know????
I know, as a customer, if I were in pvt, I wouldn't be thinking about tipping AT ALL...I'd be too hot watching the action!!! That just doesn't make sense to me!

The option to tip in open was gone over 4-5 years ago

I hope models will want and voice for more tipping options than Private only

I used to be able to tip in Group shows . That stopped about 4-5 years ago
It would be great to tip ladies who do Feature show too

This is a business . Probably not going to add tipping from open or Bio or VOD at this time :twocents

If Brad is correct - then ALL transactions are suspect and all business should cease :orglaugh

Need the same layer of protection as they use in private to tip
Only 1 or 2 dollar handling charge for each tip
Not as high percentage as they make with private
It can happen to allow more tipping - but Flirt4Free will have to updatte things the same

Not a debate

Not profitable for Flirt4Free to allow tipping outside Private at this time

I am not sure how much protection costs for encrytion , etc to provide safe transactions at this site

Tip mugs and tip in private

If Brad made that statement in exact context - It would mean EVERY tranaction could be not safe
Joining the site , buying time and tipping
Hopefully Brad or Admin will clear it up someday if it is 100% true
No one would want thier finances to be in jeparady every time they visit and purchase here

I don't know what the percentages are, so that may not work out to be a good deal on the model side of it, but if credits are the currency of F4F, I don't see why tipping would be any riskier.

As I said earlier, F4F was in it's infancy when tipping was allowed in free and group chats. The site has come a long long way since then. As I recall, there was maybe, MAYBE 10 models total here. Thinking back now, I feel really old, because that had to be 6 or 7 years ago.

Thats a good point, Rick...
Like having the tip come out of the credits you already have.

And if I were all of you, I would feel very secure in your transactions, bc appearantly, if there is any danger of anything happening to you, it is taken care of.. i.e. tipping... I am a member on the site as well and I feel very safe with their system- thats not what I was trying to imply earlier.
