There are always repercussions, everything costs.
Not all needs can be met via the net yet. There is no warmth of comfort contact, but I can obtain that by turning up the thermostat and squeezing something soft (anything soft) nearby, again it costs.
As for cheating, there was a reporter who asked a former U S president if he ever cheated (Carter) and his reply was inspiring. He said a 1 000 times in his mind he did. It is man's nature to get as much as he can, yet it all morees are stacked against our instincts.
The only fantasies that can be construed as wrong are those that the goverment has not found a way to tax enough through it.
The cyber world will never be as good as the power of novels. With all the fancy video and audio, nothing will be as powerful as a book that can get into a character's mind where the camera eye can't see. Sex is something like 90% in ones mind, the rest is mindless testosterone (or is it the other way around?) the government has not figured out a way to tax.. yet.

In cyberworld you are what you want to be - different to real world. For that you pay (that way spar is right - it isn't w/o repercussions).
Many members won't act in real life as they do in chat rooms (I don't know one at flirt who is same in reality as in closed or open rooms) - and that is without repercussion - you can be the stud you ever dreamt to be - you can be that asshole your not barve enough to be in your real world - you can even be prince charming. It is soo easy to hide behind an unknown identity.
Flirt is only distraction - but far away from real life - but who knows - sometimes dreams come true.

The closest you can get without repercussions? Perhaps, if your life remains otherwise unaffected, and your spouse or significant other unknowing, then we can tell ourselves it's a safe playground for interactive fantasies. But if you're building a relationship with someone online, fulfilling fantasies or desires here, don't you think your partner or spouse would be hurt or feel inadequate if she/he knew? Is that not a repercussion?

Cheating? I'd consider it so, but like too much language the term is muddled and subjective. I'd consider this much different from playing out some scenario in one's head or finding someone passing attractive - subconscious responses and impulses. Here it's intentional.

I don't think anyone gets fully what they want through technology (how many get what they want in the real world?), but if your need is attention, affection, companionship or interaction, it's quite the generic replacement for the real thing.

I've read all of your replies and wanted to thank you all for sharing your thoughts. I've always been an "out of the box" kind of thinker. When I am given steps one, two, and three... I am asking "What are four, five, and six?" ;) With that being said, I am a deep thinker with extreme curiosity with all new situations that I approach. This web cam modeling is new to me.
