It still is - you still have to qualify apparently, models can't just CHOOSE whether or not they want to do it. I think it all comes down to whether or not you work for a studio. I don't work for a studio and am 'only' in the top 7% so I don't get to try premiere. So I also wonder why and how girls who have been here like 10 minutes get to try it and those of us who have been here over a year don't.
Not that I'm bothered either way; I was more curious as to which criteria had to be filled which is why I asked the powers that be. I love my regulars too and I know they're poor (otherwise I WOULD have qualified, haha) so I'll just stay in standard, thanks very much.
Sorry for bumping this thread back up but I just thought people should know that no, models can't just DECIDE to go premiere. Unless... no idea. How DO the new girls get it???

There is even a new model from Fresh Faces in Premiere

The other day a model on her 1st day was there - NEVER done 1 private or worked on any site
She frowned and barely typed

Top models and models who have been here a while should be there to me :twocents

New models should take time to build a fan base while in Fresh Faces

Congradulations ALL models who have put up with us members a full year or longer :thumbsup

No dude. You have it all wrong. I don't do premiere because I am loyal to my regular customers, and I don't believe they will all be that eager to shell out the extra money...especially in this American economy. I happen to not have circumstances that necessitate me to work long, arduous hours for every last red cent. So I beg your pardon, I am not afraid of going Premiere. I can do that any time I want, and I am sure I can do as well as whatever effort I put into it. I CHOOSE to stay in standard with my comfortable room--and I am perfectly happy doing so.

To be honest? I went premiere because I became sick and tired of the incessant spammers invading my room. I am taking a "self-imposed" break, if you will. I notified my regulars and they support me 100%. When I was standard a couple of days ago, I banned no less than THIRTY spammers in the confines of three hours. Until F4F can improved their chat filters and reduce the amount of SPAMMING, I don't know what I am going to do. I have to earn a living! Is the spamming as bad for you other girls?

Premiere does look so much better

I have a $2000 HD camera that I use...don't see how it gets much better than that...still not willing to take the dive hehe

And to clear up everything, here's an email I received in February when all of this Premiere Chat blah blah blah came to fruition...

Hello, hello:

Ladies if you are interested in premier, first contact your studios, they should be able to tell you why or why not you are eligible/ineligible, if they don't have any answers for you, ask them to contact their broadcast representative.

That's the way semi-private will work as well.

Again, Model asks studio, studio may asks VS, VS does wonders.

I decided to recently try Premiere for the exact same reasons you did Heather. I had been holding off for about the past month or so because I wanted my regs to still be able to spend time me. One day I was logged in and within a matter of minutes I had about 20 grays throwing silly demands at me...the typical SHOW BOOBS...and I finally decided to switch to Premiere and so far it has been working out very well. The only negative is that some people like to voice their opinion on how much it costs...my response is that if you don't want to pay for a Premiere show, then don't...there are tons of models here! My other response is to remind people of the shows we do here...we just don't strip or flash. There is wayyyyyy more involved than that and it totally justifies the price of what the users are paying for.

I don't know if the rules permit it, but perhaps contact your regulars and let them know you can accommodate them. Perhaps by switching back to the regular rate later, or right on the spot if they are ready to go.

Well this whole Premiere thing is nice, according to the regulars of the rooms I frequent who have taken girls who have switched over private. The video is higher quality and bigger and what not - which I am glad to hear. However, I am sticking to my position that the price is unjustified and my girls know that I will not take them private while they use Premiere (too expensive, studio girls still get ripped off), in the same way I refuse to support VS's ridiculously unhealthy marathon contests (I never have privates on contest days - girls work themselves too hard for too long).
