just as with the models, this site can be a bit overwhelming for a new member trying to navigating around with his/her 120 free credits! so as in my other thread FOR ALL THE NEW MODELS, here's a thread with some advice to the new members on things they may not know.

**I'M PUTTING THIS RIGHT HERE ON TOP: THIS THREAD IS FOR ADVICE TO NEW MEMBERS, NOT A THREAD TO VENT FRUSTRATIONS OR CALL OUT PARTICULAR MEMBERS. I WILL HIT THE 'ABUSE' BUTTON MYSELF ON ANYONE WHO CAN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THIS..**

1) as you navigate around the site here's a few bits of technical info for you:
MAIN PAGE: when viewing the list of models you have two options for how they are listed at the top right, just above the pics of all the online models. 1) 'page 1', 'page 2', 'page 3', etc has all the models split onto several pages or 'view all' which puts them on one page; 2) the models are in random order which can be shuffled by pressing 'shuffle' or put in alphabetical order by pressing 'a-z'. under each pic it lists their name, the category they are in (i.e. big butts, blonde, girls next door), and how many stars each model is rated. on the right side of the page you'll see all the model categories that you can pick from, scrolling down you'll next see a pic of the model of the week followed by the most recent blog posts from models and the most recent reviews of models.

MODEL PROFILE/BIOS: bios are a great way to learn more and see more of a model. on each models bio page it will list some pertinent info that may be worth reading. it will show the models pics, their Video On Demand (VOD), any reviews by members of that model, their blog, schedule (if they have one listed) and some info on what they like and fantasize about. you can also select the model as a favorite (for VIP members only), have the system email you when the model comes online and even email the model via flirts email system!!

MEMBER PROFILE/BIOS: if you click on your name at the top of the screen it will take you to your account page. on the main page you can list the info that will be seen in the forums. from here you can access your personal pvts, transaction records, gifts and screen names. under the screen names tab you can add extra screen names if you'd like and select which will be your default one. you can also make a bio for each name which the model can view when you go in her room!

IN THE MODELS ROOM: while in their room and chatting you will notice a few things. 1) there are three colors your text can show up as in the chat rooms: grey, which is for people who have not bought any credits yet; white, for people who have purchased credits; gold for VIP members. 2) if you want to change your screen name then scroll under the chat window to where it says 'change your screen name'. if you've registered a different name you can select it and it will change to that name, or you can just click the down arrow and type right over where it says 'choose a nickname' and you can make up something new. 3) above the text input is the option to increase or decrease font size, screen resolution, turn on and off audio and insert smileys.

USING CREDITS: there are a few different ways to spend credits on this site. first, while in the models room you can direct your own show by clicking the 'go private' or 'go premiere' button under the models video box. this will cost you 60 credits a min if the model is standard and 90/min if their premiere. it's just you and the model though and they are all about making your wildest fantasy come true! your show is recorded and available for you to view anytime you want under the 'my shows' section of your profile page. if a model is in a private show you can click 'join voyer' and watch the show they're in now (with no audio) for 1/3 of the normal credits. the last way to spend credits is to go on the models page and watch her VOD's. the prices of the VOD's all vary but you can watch by the minute, rent the video for 24 hrs or for a week. you can also rate each video as well. you can also send a model a gift which can be accessed by clicking on the 'gifts' tab at the top of the screen. gifts range from 0-50 credits. lastly you can use your credits to TIP a model but you can only do this while in a show.

VOD: Video On Demand is the opportunity to watch any of the models previous shows. it's a fraction of the cost of actually going private, but you can watch any of the models previous shows. some models won't have shows because they are either new and have none recorded or have chosen not to share them.

GIFTS: these can be sent to models as a way to show thanks or celebrating their birthday or something. you can also send a little 250 character message along with the gift. the models can send gifts as well or respond to your gift with a message and you'll have to click the 'gift' tab at the top of the screen and then 'my gifts' in order to view the gifts you've sent and received. you can only send one gift per model, per day and a total of ten gifts a day.

VIP: vip status has some more advantages than just having your text gold. with vip you can select favorites which show up as a category on the main page. you can send pics via the email system. you have access to daily VOD's which are random, free to watch videos. you can access past feature shows and you can have a little avatar next to your forum posts. there are also three VIP only forums. the downside is it costs $30 a month. if you want to try it out, ask a model for the promo code and you can have a free two week trial! (for more detailed info on vip check out the thread called RANDOM QUESTIONS AND HOPEFULLY ANSWERS)

hope this helped clear up some confusion with the navigation of the site!

-NOW LETS MOVE INTO SOME ADVICE WHILE IN THE MODELS ROOM AND CHATTING-

*first let me make mention that it is much more in your favor to have the models like you. that being said, following some of the simple suggestions below can help make you one of the "good guys"!*

1) courtesy is defined by websters as: "excellence of manners or social conduct; polite behavior; a respectful or considerate act or expression". that being said, you now don't have an excuse. the models are people too, treat them that way. if they are rude to you then by all means let 'em have it. but say "hi" when you go into a room and if you are trying to get them to give you a little preview of what they can do, always use the word "please" when asking!!

2) understand that the models have rules. while i'm not going to mention them all, a few very important ones you should be aware of are:
** they can not show their pussy/dick in free chat so it's not even worth asking
** the only thing that can go in their body are toys made to do so (and ice). so no, they can't use any sort of vegetable, fruit or sporting equipment to get themselves off
** they cannot give you personal contact info or their phone number, actual e-mail address, myspace, facebook or any other social network info
** no, they are not available to meet up offline
** what they do and do not want to do is up to them and no where does it say a model HAS to do any particular sex act
** most models can and will use a phone during your pvt session, but they can't give out their phone number - they get yours, type *67 and call you

3) the models are at liberty to reveal as much location info as they want, but.. they probably are going to lie about it. sorry. don't feel insulted as it's just a safety precaution. the only people that can see what you look like are the models if you go cam to cam - so knowing your name and location is about the same as going through a phone book and picking out a name.. it'll be damn near impossible to find you. models, on the other hand, are a lot more at risk for pervs and creepers since everyone can see what they look like. while you may not be trying to google their name and find where they are, there are some sick people out there that would. so if she says she's from tennessee even though she has a russian accent, just go with it. does it really matter?!

4) on that note too: the models aren't very likely to tell you their real names either. if you need further reasoning, re-read #3. however, if you become privileged enough to learn the models real name.. DON'T say it in free chat. it's just common courtesy! they trust you enough to tell you their name cause they don't find you a psycho, don't turn into one.

5) if there's a lot of chatters in the room then it can become overwhelming sometimes for the model to keep up! they are seeing the same screen you do plus all the people whispering to them so sometimes they miss your comment. don't get angry or pissy, calmly re-type you message again and try to respect the fact that they are doing the best they can. normally they have the font sized increased on their end too so they can read the screen from farther away, so they actually see less of the chat than you do.

6) here's how to whisper: type "/MODEL NAME blah blah blah ". (i.e. "/CAMERON you look sexy as ever") only the model can see your message then. please be respectful of other members too and only use whispering when you're discussing the details of a private you want or a personal question. since the other members cannot see the message it can become super annoying to be in a room with 10 conversations going, but you can't follow the models responses cause only the only chat on the screen is yours.

7) DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS. it's annoying as hell for everyone and it's perceived as the online way of yelling. plus, it's just not necessary.

8) make sure you discuss any details that you want in free chat so that you aren't disappointed when you actually get behind the curtain. it sucks spending credits to find out mid way through the model actually won't do anal, lick her toes or something else you like!

9) if you take a model pvt then do them a courtesy and leave a review. that's how the model get's the rating you see on the main page and it's a way to tell the other members just how great that model is! and if they won't do something you want don't leave a bad review cause you're mad. it only takes five minutes.. just do it!

10) don't promise the model things you can't deliver on. if you say that you're going to get credits and just leave then they'll remember and be less likely to enjoy your company at a future time. also be advised that the model is probably not going to change clothes or do anything special in free chat for the new members until they know the member isn't just wasting their time. sorry about your luck, you can thank the countless number of assholes that came before you.

11) also don't talk about any other model other than the one who's room you're in unless they talk about them first. while it is fun, this is still a business and competition, so most models don't appreciate the advertising (however unintentional it is) for other models' rooms. no one comes to your job and talks about the competition, so don't do it here. (-thanks elsydeon for this addition-)

12) if you haven't bought your first credits yet then do it in a models room. they'll get a little bit of a bonus for having you click the 'buy credits' tab under the live video box in their room

13) there is a models forum that only they can access. while they probably talk about the good members, it's a safe bet that they share info about the shitty members too. just saying...

14) do not share your personal information in the forums - you WILL get banned. so while it would be fun for me to be your friend on facebook, it won't be fun me to be the one to have to tell you what's happening on this site since you won't be on it anymore.

15) lastly, remember this is a sex-fantasy website. not e-harmony, yahoo personals or any other way to find a relationship. think of it as a more personal, virtual strip club - while yes, it is possible to take a stripper home, it's highly, highly, HIGHLY unlikely you will. re-read that. so do yourself a favor and separate fantasy from fact before you take anyone pvt. while you will make 'friends' with some of the models and other members, i wouldn't be expecting to meet any of them for punch and cookies anytime soon!
