Juan Pablo Montoya's records at Monza (pre-qualifying and pole in two different years) are not race speeds

the fastest Grand Prix/F1 race ever run was the 1971 Italian Grand Prix won by Peter Gethin: average speed of 242.616 km/h

Monza 2004, Ant�nio Pizzonia of BMW WilliamsF1 team recorded a top speed of 369.9 kilometers per hour (229 mph).

BTW: these are referred to as 'traps' or 'trap speeds' ... measuring straight line speed over short distances on the track ... worthless trivial data :orglaugh

Darn: I should of asked if Monza and the Italian Grand Prix are the same thing

Dinosaurs do not live among us today, however, there are a few descendants of dinosaurs living today. The one that pops into my head immediately due to long boring labs on clades are birds.

I guess my question would be, what is a clade?

A 'clade" is a group consisting of a common ancestor.

An example of a true clade would be birds. Birds are believed to all descend from a common ancestor that lived about 150 million years ago. However, reptiles and apes are not clades. Reptiles aren't a clade because birds descended from reptiles (dinosaurs), and birds aren't considered reptiles. A group that excludes descendants of a common ancestor isn't a clade. Apes aren't a clade because humans descended from apes and humans generally aren't considered apes. If you include humans and the extinct relatives of humans, like Neanderthals, to be apes, then apes are a clade, but this generally isn't done.

Birds are the closest living ancestor of the Dinosaur. They share a wishbone three toed feet and stand on their hind legs. A chicken for example even has a long tail until a gene takes over and destroys it well before it is born.

The first Dino-Chicken will be hatched within the next 5 years.

What is the story behind 2012 anyway ?

The ancient Maya cyclical calendars, the longest of which last renewed itself approximately 5,125 years ago and is set to end again, supposedly with catastrophic consequences, in 2012. Even NASA predicts a sharp increase in the number of sunspots and sun flares for 2012, sure to cause electrical failures and satellite disruptions.

First, a polar reversal will cause the north to become the south and the sun to rise in the west. Shattering earthquakes, massive tidal waves and simultaneous volcanic eruptions will follow. Nuclear reactors will melt, buildings will crumble, and a cloud of volcanic dust will block out the sun for 40 years. Only the prepared will survive, and not even all of them.

2012 is also a 2009 science fiction disaster film based loosely on the 2012 phenomenon. The film briefly references Mayanism, the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, as well as the 2012 phenomenon in its portrayal of cataclysmic events unfolding in the year 2012. Due to solar flare bombardment the Earth's core begins heating up at an unprecedented rate. This results in a series of Doomsday event scenarios plunging the world into chaos, such as California falling into the Pacific Ocean, the eruption of the Yellowstone National Park caldera, shifting of the continents by crustal displacement, Megatsunami impacts along every coast line on the Earth, and the flooding of the entire planet. The film centers around an ensemble cast of characters as they narrowly escape multiple catastrophes in an effort to reach ships in the Tibetan Himalayan Mountains, along with scientists and governments of the world who are attempting to save as many lives as they can before the disasters ensue.
