We added a couple of new leaderboards to the game section showing the top reviewers and top gifters. Anyone who has chosen to remain anonymous in the game is not listed on either of these pages.

If you have ideas for other leaderboards, please let us know.

Just finished adding points (another no-cost way to earn points) for each message you send to a performer via the messaging system.
Points are awarded when the performer opens the message. One point per message, per model, per day. So if you send the performer 10 messages in one day and they open all 10 you're still only going to get one point. This is designed to make sure we keep the intent of the messaging system on-track and not abuse it for the sake of the game.
That being said, I hope you guys like this new feature. It's already fun to email back and forth with your favorite performers and now you can earn some points in the process.

Why reward members who write reviews?
Because informative reviews from customers about performers is very important to the network. Most people use reviews on shopping sites, etc. With the thousands of performers we have in the system prospective chatters are able to make more informed decisions because of the reviews.
Further, the reviews can help the performers rank better in the search engines. This natural non-spammy content is loved by Google, etc. and can help the performers get more visibility.
I suppose there is enough war between certain model fans already. We all have seen what happened when the "gift" stuff was inserted.
While a little crazy at the outset (before we limited free gifts) the virtual gifting system has come into its own since then and continues to be a way some customers prefer to interact with their favorite performers.
Going forward I think we need to create more ways that fans of performers can band together (instead of fight against each other) for the benefit of their favorite performers. If you have ideas on this topic I'm all ears ... we have some ideas ourselves that we're looking into.

Will there be a way to opt out of this thing?
You can set yourself to ANONYMOUS. Nobody knows who you are.
Can you create a button like you did on the main page that hides the off line performers that will hide this "game" where I do not have to see it?
No, it would slow down the pages too much to have a user-controlled thing like that everywhere that game elements exist.
Flirt's privacy policy says that I can opt out of having personal information given to third parties. Purchase History is consedered personal informtaion in the policy. I have not given consent and I would like to opt out.
None of your personal information is given to anyone if you set yourself as anonymous. Trust me, nobody cares where you rank ... they only care where they rank and who's in the top 10.

Today we added another way to earn points without buying a thing ... staying in a model's room for 60 minutes (in a row). It only works once per day per customer/model combination and you earn 60 points.
The change rolled out to all the servers starting this afternoon and we've already added about 20,000 points based on this new element.

There is simply no way in hell that the top fan of every model isn't going to be the one who spends the most.
If you want, give it some time. I have 14-years of spending and usage data at my fingertips and I know that customers who spend a lot with a model don't necessarily stick around for years and years with the same performer.
the top ranked "fan" (spender) doesn't win anything except everyone else knowing he spends more than them, the rest of the members don't win anything except being put in their place, and the models don't win anything.
This is only day #2. I understand you don't like it, but it's going to grow and evolve.
Further, some people seem really upset by not being #1. Sure, it's great to be the #1 fan, but being listed in the top #10 is still a pretty damn cool accomplishment IMO.
I can easily imagine models actually being somewhat less friendly with their higher ranking members, just to try to avoid looking like their playing favorites.
Sure, could happen. Also could not happen. Remember, models have always known who takes them private the most ... but they've never been privvy to see who helps them the most with all of these other ways (reviews, time in chat, etc.). As we expand these other ways to earn points it changes the landscape. Don't get hung up on spending.
You're messing with a fundamental element of this site, Brad - the illusion or fantasy that each of us is equally special to these ladies. You're shattering that by making some members more special than others, and for what? What is the gain?
I'm not confident that a game can change how a model feels towards you or vice versa. If you really have a connection it goes far beyond points.
I've heard of no one who likes it - indifference is about as good a reaction as I've seen.
Message forums are great for discussions (which I why I built this one) ... but they're also great for people posting when they don't like something. People have to really love something to come out of the woodwork and voice an opinion. I've seen enough direct feedback and feedback from the models to know that this isn't a flop.
You stubbornly keep insisting it will be fair and fun, and I think you're kidding yourself if you can't see it will never be either.
Well, we will both have to wait and see. We're not scrapping the concept, we're going to stick with it and continue to improve it based on your feedback, the feedback from performers and our ideas based on how we see people using it.
Even if the top ranked "fan" (spender) feels great for being number 1, well - you've made one member happy. You've made 9 others feel less important, and every other member that visits a model feel like they don't even matter at all.
I think your perception of being in the top #10 and not #1 needs to change over time. Being #1 or one of the model's top 10 fans (or even top 100 fans) is cool.
And from the other side of the coin, I noticed that I was one model's #1 fan - and immediately set myself to anonymous. Why? Because I already get hassled in some rooms for being friendly, I can't imagine what it would be like if I had a big #1 target on my back.
Well I'm glad you got some use out of the ANONYMOUS feature. It's unfortunate you didn't give it more than a day to see what it would be like. I personally feel like you're assumming way too much about what that #1 status would mean in other rooms ... but hey, to each his own. The site is for you to use in a way that makes you happy and if being anonymous on the list is what works for you by all means keep it that way.
...
I really appreciate all the feedback, both positive and negative. Obviously I have my opinions on this matter and I appreciate you letting me get this out to you as well, whether you agree with them or not.
Remember, this site is about more than any one page, feature, button or tool. Each customer and performer uses it in a different way and if we're to grow we have to cater to many different audiences. Some of the things we add you'll love (I hope!) and some you'll hate (or maybe really really dislike) ... either way, it's your own custom experience.
