* working on this one thing.. this single piece of weaving.. soooooo many many threads to it.. over a year.. i think.. so much of the beginning now just a wash of thread and dust and split needles.. how can it possibly work.. taking all of the accumulated bits.. and spinning it to fine firm filaments of what has happened.. to let it carry in it's weight the fullness and heat of the moments.. condensed and overlapping to hold together and make you remember.. so many hours... all of these emails, chat logs, forum postings, handwritten notes on pieces of printoff.. hastily jotted notes in the margins of another poets efforts.. places where some line of glittery text yanked on me so hard that the tear drops left marks on the page.. how to take a single duet in an otherwise obscure french opera.. and set bits of fluff, and sighs, and shared moments of desire, like the phrases of it's movement .. set these moments to it's measure.. it's rhythms kept.. but the weave of the text kept as well.. and.. would it be capable of carrying you? would it? am i even capable of knowing if even THAT matters? or am i just the anchor to it.. the anvil upon which my mind will shape it.. my flesh left sore, and stretched taunt, over the loom that i've created to weave for you... * Quote

I lean against the wall beside the phone.. shadowed I�m all but invisible unless you came to make a call.. the band is here as a favor to the owner, some ancient high school friendship linking them and putting them in each other�s debt.. I inhale smelling the rich mixture of aromas, sugary sweet fruit mixtures from the bar drinks being created competing with the 60 different perfumes, 12 colognes, 32 bath washes and soaps, the mint and cinnamon of tooth pastes and mouth washes the reek of the toilets, cigarette smoke, and from somewhere in one of the kitchen bags, the scent of bad beef� the band has finished tuning, the two male performers at banks of mixers, key boards, playback banks one wearing a 5 string bass, a pickup drummer and guitarist, flanked by some friends chatting and smoking. A single man stands at the front of the stage, a pair of microphones in front of him. He�s looking out over the crowd through his dreadlocks, and grinning widely at anyone his eyes meet.

The lights are low now, dim red and neon blue on the stage and a beat begins, one that returns my body to the memory of the roll and lunge of the arabian between my thighs. the crowd sways and rises and falls. I follow each movement and feel the temperature in the room begin to rise. The sounds mix and roil the air and I can feel as the pulses in the room begin to synchronize with the song. The music gains body and the sound of the guitar builds. I see you then, taller than I by some inches, hair dark, large luminous eyes reflecting the stage lighting until I cannot tell which is more blue, your skin pale but not the pure glow of mine; I straighten from the wall and begin to move toward you, a small gesture and before me the dancers, joining, separating, rising on their toes, arms and shoulders slowly weaving in the air change positions slightly and I writhe through the heated bodies shaping my body to the music itself. As I approach the singer opens his lips and begins to unleash words and tones that David himself would have swooned to hear. �Youuuuuuuu arrrreeeee myyyyy�.� he intones. The males dancing around the room begin to shield their eyes from mine as I pass. The females move in the shadow of what my body is creating. You raise your eyes, and see me now, and recognize that I am there for you; we join, our movements the ghost of each other, becoming a chorus as we flow around and with each other. You feel the heat given off by me now and your face blushes, your cheeks soften and you tilt your head; a look of concentration drawing your mouth to one side with pursed lips, recognizing that I am yours.

You nod your head in a gesture of welcome and we move to the door, where the bouncers turn away from us and hold the door wide. Outside the spring warmth of the day has given way to the chill that remains from winter. You move close to me now, and my senses narrow to your scent alone, the sound of your breathing and the quickening beat of your heart now the melody I have sought. You raise your hands to my face surrounding it with the soft flesh I desire. Your lips meet mine and I raise my chin slightly to accept your tongue between my lips. Your hands move down my neck and shoulders now cupping and weighing my breasts. I sigh; the polished ebony of the plumage of my large dark wings rise behind me as I fold them around us.

Sitting upon grassy hillside under the evening sky, gentle hues of red and magenta over our heads, the soft orange of the setting sun reflected off the clouds.
A hushed symphony of cicadas and crickets echo around us and fill our ears as the flicker of village lights beam below.
I look up at his chisled face, eyes of deep emerald green meet mine and then wander to my breasts, covered in only a sheer white bra. The chill of a summer breeze finds its way through me and I press up against his bare chest for warmth, and instantly I feel his strong arms envelope me, pulling me closer.

A few moments pass before I push him backwards onto the blanket playfully, pulling my long skirt up to my thighs so I can straddle his stomach. I place my hands on his chest and lower myself so that my nose touches his. I kiss his lips softly at first, and then more deeply. Our tongues meet and I feel his rough hands around my waist, guiding my body back towards the growing bulge beneath a pair of worn blue jeans. I feel his palm venture up my side before my bra unclasps, his hips grinding into me rhythmically.

I kiss him deeply once more and push myself back up, grinning mischievously. My hands immediately find the button to his jeans.
Unbutton.
Unzip.
Backing up, keeping my hands on the hem of his jeans, I slowly start to pull them down, past his knees, off around his ankles, and crawl back up to taste his tongue again...
This time though he catches me off guard and I'm suddenly pushed onto my back.

I only just notice that night has now fallen and I gaze up to a chandelier sky as he lifts my skirt up around my stomach.
I close my eyes and breathe deeply as he kisses my inner thigh and I squirm a little, his mouth finds its way between my legs... a soft moan escapes my lips, I feel his tongue over me.
He kisses up my body, stopping only to lick and suck my perk nipples before kissing my mouth.
My hands find their way around his back and I dig my nails in gently.
He can tell I'm aching for him to fill me. He teases at first, holding his lips to mine, pushing his throbbing cock against my wetness, pushing it in an inch, pulling back.
