My honest opinion at this time is Premiere is something that I will ONLY use if all models are using it and not regular.

This was a good read, and I'll continue to follow the thread. It's interesting to hear the model's perspective.

There are sites that are less expensive. Now, they are no where near as nicely laid out, and the models at F4F are absolutely second to none.

For a long time, I had a hard time convincing myself to spend $6.00 per minute. That is pretty well my cap.

I wonder if anyone has looked at it this way.

In my part of the US, a job that pays $52,000 a year is considered a pretty damn good job.
That's $1000.00 per week
$200.00 per day
$25.00 per hour
$.41 per minute

Now, a 10 minute show is 600 credits which costs basically $60.00.

So it takes a man 2.5 hours of his work week to pay for 10 minutes of STANDARD pvt, and that 2.5 hours is before taxes so it's more like 3 hours.

I know you girls work hard, you're amazingly beautiful, and you provide a helluva service, and it's not that I don't think you have earned or deserve the premiere rates.

But economic reason says, there are limitations that people have to consider.

I'm not begrudging anyone for wanting to log into premier. If you can get it, then you deserve it. Like it's been said, there are different options for everyone. If it works for you, then that's great.

Personally, it just doesn't work for me, unless they come up with a premier where you can pop out of my screen into my lap. Now THAT, I might be willing to pay $9.50 per minute for.

you wont catch me using premiere. an extra 3 bucks a mnt is crazy when u consider so many hotties not on premiere. and as for the premiere models i have NO PROBLEM finding the majority of them on other websites working at much lower rates while simulcasting here. yes guys many will take your $9 per mnt when its possible to see them for $6 OR less elsewhere at the same time. and in some cases both sites benefit because of the fake pvt options available to the girls. so someone u are voyeuring may in fact be doing a pvt elsewhere lol
I will stick to standard pvt thank you

thanks for everyone's responses!!! it has been great to see so much feedback on this topic as there clearly are mixed feelings about it. as i've read through all the responses i can honestly say that there has not been one point mentioned that i don't either agree with or completely understand that person's viewpoint. :thumbsup

From the premiere models I've seen, its worth it not only because of the models themselves, but also because the video is much better quality. Both regular and premiere are great for most shows, but I don't mind paying more for better video resolution.

When I see some amazing celebrity-like models such as Axana and Amberly Banks, who could easily command Premiere status, yet have remained "regular", I ask myself the question: "Other than enhancing the image to HD quality, will Premiere necessarily upgrade me in terms of my notoriety and success on this site?"

From what I have seen in the case of these two models, I have deducted that Premiere is not the all and end all to a model's success on this site.
Whatever their reasons for shunning Premiere, I'm sure the volume of pvt's they receive in Regular is largely exceeded than if they were in Premiere.

As for the greys, I have developed acute colour-blindness for the colour grey only and I don't plan on seeking a cure for it any time soon

I have become friends with a guy that owns a restaurant/bar that I frequent.

The other day, I was having a beer after work, and he sat down beside me, and started marking the menu up for some changes they are about to make.

I jokingly said "Hey don't be raising the prices."

He looked at me and said, "I never understood why people want to price themselves out of customers. Sure I could charge more for what I have, but I would reduce my customer base, so it would hurt me in the long run. I'm better off keeping the margin lower, and the volume higher".

In defense of the grey guys, not all are bad, and coming in as a grey is the first step to white, which is just the second step toward gold. Dismissing a grey guy simply for the color of his handle, IMHO, is not a good idea.

If he needs to be put in his place, of course do so as it needs to be done. If he's respectful, just because he's grey doesn't mean he's a bad guy.

Anyway, I'm not sure why I keep posting in this thread, but I felt the need to share my perspective. I'm sure I'm not the only one that looks at it this way.

I'll probably hush now.

For the models who cant cope with grey's,

They should be thankful to the (top) performers who can cope with grey's and who make them go pvt and become members of Flirt4Free. They might end up in a premiere chatroom taking you pvt.

I think that some of the models are being misunderstood. When we say that we do not have to deal with the grays, there is usually any adjective that comes before the word "gray." Not all of the grays are rude and obnoxious just like all the members are not super polite. But with a large portion of the grays it is not just the constant request for free shows, they say a lot of things that really affects our self esteem. When we are on display for anyone with a pc to view, we are quite vunerable and while many of the comments get lost in translation, there are a few that may stick. It is very awesome that members of the site have such great input on us models but at the end of the day, until you have been on the other end of the spectrum, its quite difficult to understand fully what some of the models are coming from when they say that it is difficult to deal with some of the grays.

I never will take a premiere private. It just seems like a snub to me by the model: look I'm so great I think I can rake you for more money with a minimal increase in the return. Not to say there isn't obviously a few great models on here that deserve the extra $$$ because there is. Long-term models who have a big client base are already making a hefty sum that raising the rate seems offensive to me, especially if I'm a regular in her room. As for the new girls, premiere may seem attractive but I think it would make for a very slow start - not recommended.

Tsk Tsk for simultaneously broadcasting? Sheesh--this is our JOB, dude! This is how we support ourselves and our families. I only work on Flirt, but how can you shame someone for trying to make a living? Maybe they need that extra income? Maybe they aren't getting paid as much as you think they are? Everyone has their reasons for doing what they do--premiere, standard, simultaneous broadcasting...what do you care as long as you are getting off? I don't mean to sound harsh, but I am not slighting or judging anyone for how they make a living. If you don't like it, don't buy into it. Just sayin'.

Every model in this thread is freaking beautiful and deserving of every last cent they earn--no matter what way they earn it. :bowdown

I don't see simultaneous broadcasting as being able to bring in more money...unless the model has no personality and she's relying completely on her looks. Working more than one site at once limits you being able to follow conversations and really get members "on the hook". The one model I know not from this site tried this out once and hated it because she got so confused and some people were angry that she wasn't responding to them. Like you said though you're free to do what you have to, just keeping in mind members may not be appreciative of premiere or simucasting.
