Premiere chat was indeed made for Adult movie "stars", but I m sure VS had it also in mind to be used for other performers too, otherwise regular performer wouldn't have Premiere option available.

I have to say that most Adult movies "Stars" that performed here are used for promotion purposes only, it is done to give all the Brands of VS a "higher" standard from other cam sites. The use of premier during a competitions is an issue on its own. In my view its quite fair specially when there is a 10% discount during the time of competition. Model get 10% less for her pvts.( I don't know this for sure). So if they go premiere and you have 10% discount a pvt/ min will cost you I think 8,10 thats 35% more but the model gets a little bit bigger cut / minute too, so thats good for the model.. of course the biggest profiter is VS in this but its win situation all the time for them.

If one performer starts to use Premiere during competition than others will too or you will find yourself in situation that you are unable to win the contest even with more pvt minutes.

What also should be mentioned is the fact that models from other country's than usa, canada and West Europe get a far lesser % cut from that 6/ min and usually they need to support family's with their earnings so if they can use premier they get a bit bigger cut so it makes their life a bit more easy. BTW It never hurts to tip heavily if you can afford it.

1 - Models using cheap webcams
2 - New Unexperienced Models
3 - Models with no toys (see #2)
4 - Models without pan/tilt or zoom (see #1)
Premiere Chat is a place that models who are Excellent Performers with HI Quality Cams & Equipment and Lighting should be. I'm seeing many new performers start working here and work with web cams as thier video/ausio device.. I think someone needs to get real here with performers and explain to them that they really require something more then a web cam from microsoft or logitech... these devices are for instant messengers not for this type of application that requires the use of high bandwidth and high res video.

I'm going to write something up for performers soon and add it here regarding video/audio devices and how to make a broadcasting system on a budget that will make web cams look so over priced and such a poor device. okay coming back to the topic of Premiere Chat, Premiere Chat should stay in the domain of top performers with good equipment and that can perform with audio too. Members don't get to know you as well and you lose an opportunity to build your fan base
If you are in the very top the 1st week - go for Premiere Chat . I won't be a visitor to your room

1 of my favorite models uses Semi-private
I refuse to go there - I can not tip in Semi-private
I avoid it and indirectly her unless she takes time in open

If I have X number of credits to spend and choose premier, I simply tie up a room less, interact less, and lol, am less likely to make it thru to the woman's orgasm. So seems like the calculation would get pretty complicated. Balancing the freed up time with the cost of supporting more than one method of pvting, reduced 'get to know me time with' the customer, and (wide grin) larger, amounts of unrelieved model stress. Of course there are other factors that to me seem pretty hard to quantify: the appeal to the elite minded customer, the anti-appeal to the egalitarian customer, ganglia exciting spectral effects of different button colors, the appeal of supposedly better cams/interfaces, the chance to gather data and analyze human behavior in controlled settings...
