they will be removing the link to the old interface next week. hopefully anyone still having issues will be able to get them resolved!
on a side note, purg i'm still having issues.. for example: this morning i'm in jasmine's room and video is fine. went into vanity valentine's about an hour ago and it's all sorts or skipping.. what gives?! i'm out of ideas!
gdiddy you have to remember some rooms are sending out video and audio at higher bitrates, the rooms you maybe having problems with maybe the rooms that are on good quality upload speeds and therefore they set their performer applications to higher quality therefore higher bitrates.
Standard rooms operate from 200-400Kbs
The site requires models really to have a minimum of around 400Kbs for good quality video/audio without it breaking up.
But you will find rooms like Axana, Chelsey Eden and other Usa models on very high speed internet and their bitrates i have seen hit from 1000Kbs to 2000Kbs so if your internet is not getting 2Mbps on the rooms that are running at 2000Kbs you will see it stutter and start going out of sync too.
So you really need to make sure you have a good quality download speeds on your internet to access the high quality rooms.
I remember you saying you was using mobile broadband and as I mentioned before that won't work well on streaming media due to how it stops and starts alot and the bandwidth on such internet is never what they state and be happy if you get 25-50% of the bandwidth they promise on mobile broadband.. You need to do the speed tests and see if you are getting anything near what some of these rooms are sending out at. If not you will either have to go to rooms that are set on lower quality or get a faster connection. Other possibility is VSmedia could add a feature that the user can select to limit the quality of the rooms settings so if model X is sending out at 2000Kbs and your internet is only getting 500Kbs, you could choose to select a slower speed. This maybe something VS may need to add into the system to basically throttle the models bandwidth to a point you can use it at. Maybe ask them if they can add such a option onto the open room interface.
