I feel there has to be a limit also..geez how many models are there anyway. 1 or 2 pics is plenty..we all know this is gonna be a popularity contest anyway so why does a moddel need more than 1 pic..then we don't have to look thru so many pics to find our favorite model

the photo contest is as stupid of an idea as one can imagine. Let a performer submit one picture only. The company screwed up on this contest.

The photo contest is worth a certain amount of money for first place, which is good because there hasn't been too many contests, when a certain amount of money can be won for coming in first place.

yea if the model you were voteing didn't have at least ten pics in the contest. then the model didn't have a chance to win though ethier. Yes, i egree there has been an over kill with the pics.

Yeah, it'll be a real surprise about who will win (NOT). The top two performers both have over 100 photos each. But if you look at the top photo votes, neither of them is one of the top two photos.

The contest is set up so more photos definitely equals more cumumlative votes. To be fair, it should be the set so each model had the same number of photos (and thereby chance of votes), or a total of 10 votes per member including multiple votes for the same photo. This would negate being out voted by shear number of photos submitted.

A lot of really fantastic models don't stand a chance because they've been outnumbered by the mass of photos submitted!

The solution for the next photo contest would seem to be, not only do the top vote-receiving models get a prize, but the top voted individual photos also receive a prize. Maybe more models will submit less photos in the hopes that the ones they submit do well.

Hundreds of entries is a bit beyond overkill, but it is especially so with some posting virtually no variety amongst photo after photo. This isn't still photography for animation, and for some I have to closely inspect a half dozen photos to tell if she wiggled a toe. I have 10 votes to give each day, for the next five weeks? I think I'd prefer to give those votes to the models who respectfully don't flood the contest.. call it a backlash, but just because you can fill a gallery does not make it art.

That said, I must add that as to those who did post 20 or 30 photos, but all quite varied and each unique, I don't have a qualm in the world against your method, or your madness. Having spent the last half hour in my own little heaven adoring the thousand plus pictures of the beautiful models here in a bevy of poses and views and clothes, all my thanks and appreciation for sharing. Maybe it is a bit much, but far and away there's no need for the 'webcam' prefix, the women here are every bit models, sensual and aesthetic. And perusing the pages is better than any gentleman's magazine. As if I didn't dally enough hours here each week, you add so much eye candy and invite me to bring my sleeping bag. What's a boy to do? Just bliss. This fat kid's locked himself in Willy Wonka's factory

Ya, I didn't post because of it. I don't mind if its unlimited, but maybe limited to 1-2 a day..... That way you would get the best pix each model had..

Maybe there are too many photos by some models, but there are less photos by a model, who has more votes, than by a model, who has more photos in the contest.

It sounds like some of you are blaming models for posting pics (well within the contest rules) and trying to win the cash prize. When the contest defaults to the "Sort By Date" list of photos, it is in the models' best interest to continually post pics so they are in the first few pages. This is like "bumping" up a thread so more eyes will see it. The more eyes that see the photo, the more potential votes that model will have.

Hopefully VS can modify the rules to limit the number of photos per model and create more useful sorting tools. That being said, the models who have followed the contest rules should not be penalized just because they have been successful.

I hope this thread can provide constructive criticism and not bash models who work hard to win these contests (and the accompanying cash prizes).

The contest will run through midnight on March 31, 2010. Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 male and female performers based on the cumulative votes for all of their photos.

From what you have said in the quotes, I understand that all the votes for a performer's photos will be added together to give the performer a score.
So, if a performer uploads 100 photos and gets 2 votes for each photo the score will be 200.

Does that not give favour/bias to the performers who have access to a large portfolio of photos if there is no limit on the number thay can upload?

On this subject of how many photos a performer can submit the above are the quotes from a post I put in the VIP thread yesterday about the contest, asking Brad this question.

Am I reading what folks are saying wrong that they can vote more than once per day for the same photo? I thought it said on the contest banner one vote per photo per day up to 10 votes. Meaning we could vote up for up to 10 photo�s per day. Am I misunderstanding what folks have been saying? I will admit I do get confused at times.

Now I find it very interesting that though a certain young lady though she is not in the lead but among the top ten models by cumulative votes that if you look at the Ordered by Vote tab she does have the #1 picture and her only other picture, she has only so far posted 2, is the 7th most voted for photo. Now though she does not have the most cumulative votes but she does have, as I write this, the most votes for any one picture. I would hope that some prize would go to the model whose one photo gets the most votes. At least that would take some of the, what I think is, unfairness of having 122 photos or 412 photos, out of this contest. This would at least name the model that has the most favorite photo on F4F.

Well this is my simply opinion and my :twocents

All the models have the option of adding as many pics as they want. Lets not persecute the ones who have more. They are abiding by the rules of the contest. And certain members need to stop hating. These girls are at work and are entitled to earn.

If you do not or cannot see it as just that, don't participate, but at the same time, do not talk bad about the models who are in fact, just playing by the rules of the game. Perhaps F4F should have certain parameters applied to the contest, but this is the first time I believe they have ever done something like this so give them a chance to iron out all of the kinks before criticizing the site itself for trying something new. In many of the contest where the winner was picked based on credits alone, customers complained because they felt the contest winner should be based on votes, well now, here is your chance to vote for your favorite model and help increase her chances of winning. It is a fun contest guys in which the models get to show off their creative sides. Many of the models have taking out a lot of time and even paid a lot of money to have photos done for this contest and if they paid for the photos and want to display them they should be able too without being persecuted for doing so....just my shiny two nickels.

True - hopefully if the site runs another contest like this one they set a limit BEFRE the contest starts - as it is just over 25% of all pics submitted are of 1 model. THATS the issue i was commenting on -- the apparrent disparity of pictures / model ratio. In contests like this i feel Less is sometimes more (Quality over Quantity.)

I've voted each day - mostly for 2 models ( 4 votes each ) and the other 2 votes I have ginen to models that have put in a small amount of pictures - the 2 votes will be to different models each day.
