Unfortunately, this is not a democracy

Even if it was, the site has thousands of members, but only a few are requesting new emoticons

The forums have been around for about 4 years, and I don't think the emoticons have changed in that time

Sadly.....Sort of True, well more than a few as I have seen this topic come up in other places in the forums, true, and sweet thanks.



So as I mentioned in another post in a another "thread/topic", the customer service at Flirt 4 Free is among the greatest, "top notch", at least in my experience thus far. This is part of the reason my money is spent here and not elsewhere. Anyway, It would seem that we may now have there attention; since I sent them an email concerning the subject and received an immediate reply. Leading me to believe that a phone call, at this time is not necessary. Now trust me, I know Politics, Business and Bureaucracy it's part of what I do! So that said I'm in no way suggesting that were getting new emoticons, but I do have reason to believe that this subject is being considered. I suggested that they at least make the emoticons we have in chat usable in the forums and vice-versa. So Keep posting people.

I will keep you in the loop when I find out more......besides it's not like were asking for them to move a mountain. Nor are we asking them to alter their prices in any way, or do an expensive or extensive system overhaul, which in turn causes us all to suffer. Again in true "Politician" form:

"I can't and won't promise new emoticons"

but I bet if we keep this rolling we will eventually get a compromise that will suffice.

Let me guess - your "immediate reply" said that you had their attention and that your request would be passed on to the department concerned, right?

In other words, the "immediate reply" you received effectively said absolutely nothing about your request, it could have been a response to ANY email from ANY member.

If I am correct, then, in my opinion, you have no reason to to believe that the subject is being considered at all. It could be the case that they have simply politely fobbed you off.

Haha nope, that was the first email I got. The second email I got from an actual person said something different. But I guess time will tell.
