I have to say that many of the women here who know English as a second language:
a) know it as well or better than MANY Americans,
b) it's their second language when most Americans (including myself) know only one language well enough to communicate effectively,
c) often, English isn't her second language, it's her third, fourth, or fifth language. Makes me jealous. I should have studied harder in high school German class.

Ok I'll probably get shot down in flames, but I do have a couple of suggestions for you if you want your favourite model to enjoy pvt with you a little more. This is generally aimed at those who are new to this, as I'm sure the 'old hands' (no pun intended) already do these things:

1 - Letting her know in free chat that you're about to take her is always good (unless you want to surprise her that is), in case she needs to pee/finish her smoke/get her toys ready/whatever first.

2 - Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. She can't read your mind. By all means discuss it in open chat (that's what it was actually designed for), or at least ask her whether she's willing to do whatever it is you want. I hate being taken pvt and THEN having to say 'no, sorry, I can't shove my whole arm up my ass/kill my pet/puke all over myself/etc.' And respect her boundaries, 'no' means 'no', which is why it's better to check in open chat first. She probably WANTS to please you, so by all means let her know if you want a close up/more dirty talk/different position etc.

3 - Remember your manners. Of course time is money in this case so no-one HAS to use flowery language or bring seduction to an art form (unless you want to), but the odd 'plz' or 'ty' or 'yeah that's good' goes a LONG way towards helping her feel like she's doing it properly and making you happy. Rudely barking orders at her like she's some retarded robot is not good. Neither is bellowing 'HURRY UP!' at her if she's already going as fast as she can. Some things do take a minute. I'm not talking about girls who try to keep a customer talking to delay it; I'm talking about getting out the lube if you want anal, getting the camera angle right sort of thing.

4 - At the end, if there's still time, by all means take the one second it takes to type 'ty'. It makes such a huge difference. It also helps her to know that you ARE actually done, and haven't been caught by your wife/disconnected from the Internet/had a heart attack... etc.

5 - If you really enjoyed yourself, then by all means leave her a nice review. It's wonderful advertising. There's also a tip function in pvt if you really want to show your appreciation.

6 - Have FUN!

8 - Make a review, be honest, other customers will use them as advice as to if they should go private. So be fair and accurate

9 - I normally let my regular know when I'm leaving - say, "I am going in 1 or 2 mintues".

10 - And when it comes to the end i like to make sure i have plenty of time to thank her for the time together and alwsys say 'I'll give ya time to get cleaned up and camera in right positiion before leading you back out'

11 - If you have time left, please don't leave WHILE THE MODEL IS STILL CUMMING! A drawback of not faking your orgasms is that once one has started, it's kinda hard to just 'stop'. lol. This has happened to me on more than one occasion and every time the member still had well over 5 minutes left on the clock. Nothing like opening your eyes and realising that a full room of people is now peering up your still contracting snatch! [This comment has got her new members and privates]

12 - let her prepare: let her use the bathroom, smoke, etc. also get her outfits, shoes, toys, etc. ready, change if she wants to before private (most wont, but some will if they know the guy is going, usually a regular customer); so she isnt rushing to get that stuff while she's on the clock

13 - Use please and thank you . Complement what you like about model

I felt obliged to add a perspective based on the other side of the keyboard. When I first found this site, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted out of it, if anything. I talked to a few girls in chat and most of them:

A) Hardly responded to anyone in chat unless you go pvt
B) Have audio but don't use it
C) Say "take me pvt" to answer just about every question
D) Didn't actually speak English (except "pvt bb")
E) Or just plain weren't even paying attention to the chat

It really turned me off, just made me feel like I was at a WAY more expensive strip club. So after running through about two dozen of those girls I about wrote off the site altogether. Then one night I happened upon Saphira's chat room and my opinion was forever changed - it's models like her that make you want to come back to the site.

It seems like the majority (not all) of the models on here don't understand the concept of this website: fantasy - both sexually and mentally. While we just discussed not making the models feel like robots, not "using" the members could be a new thread as well. As the post before said, I use the chat to gauge whether I want to go pvt with a girl because I'm looking for someone who is not only hot, but is gonna make me believe that if I met them on the street they would actually be attainable. Saphira, Alyssah Simone, Ashlee Adams, Vanity Valentine, Britney Monroe (sorry to the rest of you who I've not had the pleasure of enjoying pvt with) are just a few of the girls that deserve every bit of the money they earn on here because they fulfill the other half of that fantasy equation: the mental part. They do their best to remember who you are, answer your questions and strike up actual conversations. Alyssah said it best the other day, she "doesn't care if you hang around in the room, just be cool".

To the girls that wonder why they don't get the reviews.. it's because "one and done guys" (i.e. the guy that comes in the room, asks you where you're from, you say "go pvt" and he somehow does) aren't sticking around to write them. So yea, you may get your pvt by begging a guy to do so, but he's not coming back, nor is he leaving you a review.. and honestly I doubt he's gonna say "thank you" either. Steal a page out of these ladies books and just be real with the guys. They might not go pvt the first day they meet you - I know I don't, but if you ignore them then you just blew every chance you had and making that happen in the future. I only go pvt when I feel a connection of some sort and these models all made that happen. And that makes me want to let other guys know about this girl, which means I will write a great review.

And for God's sake SMILE, I was in a room earlier (at least half an hour) trying to make convo with a girl (who will remain nameless) and she was texting, reading a book or something and just plain looking annoyed. For any girls that I've been in chat with, I like to make jokes and make the girls laugh.. that's a turn on for me. Then at the end she types "Well if no one is going to be fun I'm going to do something else". Really?! She was so much "fun" in chat that I passed on the pvt for some reason.

Ahh yes, what I call the 'lounge lizards'. Actually, I just re-read your post and I must amend - 'lounge lizards' NEVER go pvt. I've had members come into my chat rooms for YEARS without ever going pvt. Can't speak for other models but no, on the whole I don't mind. It depends on the member though, to a degree. If he was obnoxious, rude or otherwise very tiresome and disruptive to the chat flow, I would get him banned. Otherwise, my philosophy is: the more the merrier.

I like to have a nice full chat room with plenty of conversation and good humour. I also get that this is an expensive hobby to have and am more than understanding if someone has financial difficulties or whatever. In fact I've been known to 'ban' members from taking me pvt on occasion if I know they're trying to save money for something (just ask Ozzieboy4u, hehe).

It's a tricky one to balance - on one hand, I see members as PEOPLE, not walking wallets, and I think the guys who come to visit me regularly get that vibe and it's one of the things they appreciate about me. On the other hand, as I like to say, 'The bar would have to close if no-one ever buys a drink'. In fact, I don't know any establishment which would happily tolerate being full of potential punters for hours every night but never selling any booze.

It can get a little frustrating on slow days, but then again I don't like 'pity pvts' (I'm not hard to please, am I? lol) and I KNOW when a member is taking me pvt just to cheer me up. I hate that.

In a nutshell: everyone is welcome as long as they're respectful to me and the other members. Don't be ashamed to admit if things are a bit tight (one regular of mine got laid off MONTHS ago but he's still always welcome in my room, even though he hasn't been able to go pvt since then), but also bear in mind that if no-one EVER went pvt, this site would cease to exist. That's basically what it all boils down to.

I just started and want to say all of this is helpful. Just an FYI I guess we all learn some sooner then others the grey guys are ok but if they ask you to see something and they will take you private i know my first day I was like ok this is easy would do there lil request like hand bra anf I will take you pvt. Well after a day of this and reading the site and going on the site I understood that that was complete game/. They are not even a member so they have no credits to go to private so just a small piece of advise for the new girl be nice and smile but don't fall into that game cuz it makes you and actually they have just played you. just a little fyi. LOUNGE LIZARDS! haha - love the term! This does bring up two interesting points between Cali V's post and the "lounge lizards" theme we've started.

Firstly, I too am trying to figure out which greys are worth acknowledging in chat as well. Cali (as well as other new girls) I know it can be tough to distinguish between "paying customers" and those who are going the HBO porn route (i.e. watching the model and hoping to see something, ANYTHING for free). While you don't want to scare potential customers away by ignoring all greys, you also don't want to keep beating an obvious dead horse by showing every grey a doggy style camera shot. Two things I've noticed other girls doing in their chat rooms that seem to work pretty well:

A) Only respond to the greys who are actually making real, genuine conversation. Anyone that just says "hi (model name). how are you". Can't go wrong by talking to people, I too was new and a grey at one time and that's what made me go white (ok.. that sounds weird). The first girl I talked to on 4F4 was pretty cool and continued my conversation right back with me, it was enough for me to go get my two mins worth of free credits! lol Even now I always come into a room and use that exact same opening phrase - unless I'm one of your regulars, then I try to make a splashier entrance (just ask Alyssah Simone.. I'm working on theme music and a WWE style entrance for her room!! )!

B) Once you develop your regulars, they will often times take care of annoying greys for you. Most of the obnoxious greys are in there to try and irritate the model, once other people in chat start going after them it's more than they can handle and they usually leave the room. I'll gladly defend the model I'm chatting with, not only because I respect the girl but b/c, dammit, I'm there to have a good time and he's pissing in my cheerios!

Hope that helps a little Cali. Obviously input from other girls is gonna help the most, but I always try to give the "opposite side of the keyboard" perspective a little.. I think it's good to see both sides of the coin... plus when you're new and trying to figure things out hearing multiple perspectives is the easiest way to sort it all (I believe that anyways).
