And if you look back at the winners of majority of the contests recently the 1 that has topped the rankings is usually a performer who does not have VOD

Congrats to all performers that win regardless of VOD participation or not.

Sometimes I work during a contest, but since I cant win a prize and I share some of the same friends with other models here, I figure that it gives them more of a chance to win the prize. I doubt VS really cares if I am online or not seeing as they have a huge amount of models working for them.
I think that the point of these contests is to simply generate more traffic on days that might be slow for both models and visitors. It's nice that the site gives back to the models. It's really too bad that they are being seen as a negative thing.

I agree with you Kail, I think it is awsome the site gives back to us models!! it is awsome that we have a chance to earn extra money! I do also agree that the it is fun for the visitors to have these contest! it does make the site more intresting!! :thumbsup

I agree with you 100% Kali! I think it is great that the site gives back to us models! I think it is fun for the visitors too when we have these contest! Keeps it more intresting!! it is just like sex! we have to keep it fun and intresting and try new things!! hehe!!

I agree - it keeps it more fun and interesting. Those white and black lingerie parties were fun!! I was online for those ones jsut because I thought it was a good idea and wanted to be a part of it.

Ok so we could just have more of those days randomly without the prizes but with nice bonuses for the visitors - where maybe the person who spends the most time wins a prize and the model he is with at the time also wins a lil somethin too?

Doesn't matter if you win or lose, Competitions are fun. Somebody mentioned here that you should take out the winner for the next competition. But than the next victory would be of less value. It's only fun when you compete with the best of the best. If you can't win maybe you in wrong business or you have to work on your image a little bit more.

But what really is a pity is the fact that f 4 f keeps sticking to its VOD policy. And that only performers with VOD's up get the prize. All models should be able to compete and get the prize.

Thanks to those performers that compete (with or without vod up in bio ) the revenue are peeking on such day, if you take a 0.5% out of net income for that day. you don't need vod income to be able to pay up the prize bonus, for sure thats not to much to ask.

Nobody comes for VODs anyway. Just like W. Bu$h, VODs was a hype for a little while, but its a thing of past now. Video chat was and is the reason ppl come here. Besides a pvt is more a thing between the guest and performer and not everybody on f 4 f, its this 1on1 thing that makes it special. And if you really want to make a good vod than make an adult movie for sure it gives a bigger return for the performer than VOD and at least you have DVD quality lol

many very good performer left because of this vod. No matter how big your businesses is. A site with out top performers isn't a top site any longer. Just like Berny Ecclestone ones said change or die.

All competitions and contests all over the world have rules. Some are good some are bad. Some rules make sense and some rules dont make any sense at all. Some contests require things that you need to be able to win and if you dont have them, how unfair it may be. You cant win. Its that simple...

(Its getting a little bit annoying now this stupid VOD discussion...)

You are so sweet Axana... I dont see how anyone can be mean and hurtful towards you. In my opinion you should of won because you dont have VOD and must must twice as hard ( because i think they count VOD mins also in the contest). My comment earlier about changing the rules to let
other models have chance to win...I was not talking about you.

Maybe somebody can help me with that??? "The wierd rules of contests "
- So there was the first contest: Haloween Contest, winner: Sheryl (no Vod)
-Second it was the Thanksgiving contest(new rules),winner; Malori (Sheryl and Sandra X ,no Vod were not getting the prize,many complaining from the fans,etc)
- 3Th Red Panty Contest winner Malori ( Axana Didn't get the prize ,no Vod,many complainings etc)
-4th X-mas contest,winner Alexia Steele
-5Th Beating the record Contest,winners: Sheryl,Axana(both no Vod)
-6th,7th Lingerie Party winner,Alexia Steele
- And now the last contest again with missunderstoods and discusions etc etc....Axana didn't get her prize
Why Haloween ans Beat the Record Contests had other rules?/?
If we get to look beter on list the winners are the same in each contests: Malori,Sheryl,Axana,Alexia
Maybe other models should have a chance too??

Well sometimes even the CS rep don't know what the rules are, if you ask them.

But According to Jordann CS rep;

"All contests except for the 'Beat the Record' one are only open to models
with VOD's up."

Why? Maybe because because "Beat the Record" contest was an old stile competition" where the bonus for winner comes from revenue of that day.

The new contest use a small part of revenue from VOD's for the bonus.

But why not have a statement on the competition info page that only VOD'S model can get a bonus if they win? maybe because guy's wouldn't go pvt that day if they knew for sure.

At the moment nobody know from guests point of view for sure if their fav model can or can't win.
especially if the competition info page say " Help your fav model to win by going pvt ". Actually you could demand $$ back. After all you buy a win for your model and if she didn't get it because of hidden rules. Keep in mind that f 4 f is selling party here and guest the buyer the performer is just an employee. Thats why if the buyer is misinformed by the selling party you could claim $ back. F 4 F should know its law of commerce.

One thing about giving other models a chance to win.

Let me ask you this....Are we running a charity or business here, Dick? (I call you Dick cos thats your nick good nick btw

)All of those girls who you mentioned stared with 0 fans they worked their way up. And it was a long way to go, now they can enjoy fruits of their work.

I mean if you was a lets say lawyer and you have many good accounts and life is good for you. You just happen meet few layers that just started. Would you walk up to them and say; Hey buddy have few of my accounts have a go with it, good luck! ". I bet you wouldn't, Dick.

Same rule apply here if performing here is your core business. You can wish your competition good luck, but thats it. At least thats my opinion.

When you talk about others ppl income its easy to say. Hey, give others a go its just for good fun. I bet if you was a performer you wouldn't even dream about it! :D am I right or right Dick?

After few weeks( in Thanksgiving contest) they changed the rules(many models didn't knew),and models without Vod couldn;t took their prizes.,so i decided to not particiapte to contests anymore,till i seen that Beat the Record allowed the models without VOD to win(Everybody knew that the record will be broken only by few models in site,and many from them didn't had Vods,so i guess this is why Beat the Record had other rules)
So Haloween with Beat the Record had nothing to do with each other

Also the models( including me) without Vods can open them when they wish and take their bonuses,prizes
Is fair enought,the site makes the rules,and is our decision if we open the Vod or no

What do you mean about the top 20? It's based on the percentage of private time you have - so if you are in the top 1-2 % you are in the top 20 but it shuffles around as there are variances throughout the day.

Was totally not my intention for this thread to do like this LOL... but i'm glad we cleared things up for models and customers alike.

Just to add my 2 cents...
I think models without VODs should be treated equal to those with.. But more importantly I think contests should be based off pvt time alone, not vod + pvt time.

I also believe models should not be able to win so much in a row.
I read the 'lawyer' theory, which makes sense.. but it is not the same in reality...or more fitting, not the same on f4f

I wrote a big novel about why I thought that was so.. and deleted it, because Kali is right this should go to rest... I just wanted to get my :twocents

word in because I'm a leo and the world revolves around me, duh. ;p MUAAAAAH
