Glad I'm not the only one who caught the Buckaroo Banzai reference. A great quote from one of my all time favorite films, might have known it'd be on your list too Dudley.

OK, the quote comes from the incredibly rare (but equally funny) film "Twice Upon A Time", which by an amazing coincidence, I happen to be selling a copy of on Eee-Bay at this very minute, with only 1 sad 99 cent bid on it. Could be yours for a $1 bid & shipping if you beat the end of the auction tomorrow (and provided you also have a working Laserdisc player to watch it on, LOL. Who'd of thunk that a guy who drives a Delorean would have one of those too? Gotta love 80s high tech stuff!)

It is, by the way, one of my all time favorite films. I always introduce it to friends as "the best animated comedy you've never seen." A "lost masterpiece" by several creative geniuses all working under the supervision of Executive Producer George Lucas, it never got a national theatrical release due to it's distribution agent, The Ladd Company, going out of business just before the scheduled national premiere and then tieing the film up in legal red tape for years afterward until their bankruptcy case was finished. It combined a unique & innovative new animation process (Lumage), a highly original story, some top rank voice talent, and original music by Michael McDonald of The Doobie Brothers and Bruce Hornsby. An extremely rare Laserdisc for collectors, and an extremely enjoyable film for all.
