Found another new bug (small but just fyi if people are watching this thread), I got this as a confirmation after I sent a gift:
"MODEL_NAME will receive your gift the next time she logs into his account." it was a female model, her name worked, I just censored it for the forum :P
--she logs into HIS account lol.

Dicimus the VOD login window wasn't movable in the old version either, at least for me, but no I haven't had it grey out the video behind the window on the new one yet.

The chat censor is EVEN WORSE than before.

It doesn't allow members to type several similar characters in a row, so I can't write, "Mmm." or "Hahaha". Grey chatters can still do multiple characters and spam

It still can't differentiate between words it's censoring and words it needs to allow. "HIV" should be censored, "ArcHIVe" and "BeeHIVe" shouldn't.

It still punishes people for typing proper English with punctuation. This is ridiculous. The chat system should definitely be able to tell when I'm writing web protocols versus using punctuation.

Was just testing the audio on the new chat (version 3) versus the old chat (version 2), my findings are the audio is better on the old chat it's more natural and louder, the new chat is deeper sounding but it's okay really and little lower in volume.

Less bitrate for audio in new chat ? new codec ? not sure but there is a change there..

Was testing in same room btw, with same model speaking at same level and muted each one in order to compare.

Also the chat filter needs some work too, it's trying to block users for typing normal stuff that it thinks are web protocols or banned words ... I was asking a model " you don't ? " and it flashed up it is blocking me :-/...

I also noticed that the model's star rating doesn't match the older version. I discovered this about Pearla when I tried out the new interface - fewer stars so I sent multiple reviews to make the "correction" to 5 stars.

This should be fixed now, it was a rounding issue.

I see what he's saying, the old VOD pages took you to an intermediate page where you had to click again to get to the pay-per-minute player. Now we bring you straight there.

Thanks for the info! One thing that I see is if you're in a room with a couple for example and there are two names with an ampersand I get the error message. i.e. /Model_Y & Model Y - it can't understand it.

Previously the partial name worked for whispering.

There are many features that are improvements. I too love the gift option.

It's very helpful to hear some of the tricks to negotiate the new site. Once the bugs are worked out it would be great for for F4F to issue a Users Guide to the new interface giving us shortcuts and navigation help.

was curious to know when you can no longer use the old site.is there a tentative date set yet?on the chat cenorship I noticed one guy used periods,commas etc to use one letter more than once in a row.example

kind of irritating for something simple.do like the gifts,could use some more emoticons,my face has got some deep grooves on it

yeah partial whispering was awesome, I hope that can be put in again. And wow the key repeat censor really is bad, it turned "hello" into "helo".

I also wish it would notify you when a message was too long like before rather than invalidating it and making you retype it and break it apart.

and np to the VS people ;). I kinda dabble in programming so I've gotten good at finding text bugs or breaking something on purpose to find out what causes it to so it can be fixed. Oh and everyone on the site says I'd make an awesome monitor and im jobless lol ;) :thumbsup

Not sure if this is a bug or a "upgrade"..

on the new chat the chat applet will clear the whole chat and you can't go up and see what was said, seems like its set on a timer to do that ..

Not sure thats right way to go with the chat applet ... can this be like on the old chat please so it does not wipe the chat fully..

On a happy note the coming into a room and seeing some chat is a nice touch, makes it easier to get involved in the conversation.. :thumbsup

Ohh also I don't see an area for refreshing the video, chat or model menu too like on the old chat if something freezes.

I know you can refresh the whole page, but was nice to be able to refresh each one on it's own.

yeah the random chat wiping is kinda weird, and the previous chat to fill you in is great.

I miss the manual refresh video and chat buttons too, but my theory is that the modellist updates itself more often now and thats why we can't manually do it or have more than one category expanded at once.

my main name here now is the 2nd or 3rd of my sn's, and a model informed me that when I enter her room she of course sees the first one, but they have a nice little overlap for when we switch so it's not easy to pointout :thumbsup

Just noticed this tonight that when you are in pvt on the new interface there is no screen size adjustment.... members who take performers pvt will get blurry or unfocused video feeds. Went back to the old interface and the screen size adjustment was still there and I could view the performer after I was able to change the default screen size....I'm sure this will be changed jsut a matter of time :drinkup

Ive noticed this and I wonder if others have also.
When the chat screen dumps the text, if you switch the font size, the lost text comes back. You can then switch it back to the old font, and you wont lose the text.

and as to the matter of rooms 'randomly' ejecting you after saying the model was on break too long I specifically noticed it happened tonight when a model went on a quick break with the break button then came back. Maybe the code for disabling the timer on model return isn't working. :bulb

It also seems like the randomizer code for which room you get thrown into on modellogout/breakexpiration might need to be looked at. I know occassionally you'll land in the same room often, but this afternoon was 6 times in a row ending up in the same girls room, coming from different models rooms, not all the same one. Then tonight it was a different model, but I got sent to her room at least 3 times.

hmmm, it seems like something happened with the reviews system. It was fine when the new interface was first setup but now the main page on some girls' bios are showing reviews of other models, even a review meant for a male performer in one case.

When you click the reviews tab they are fine, but the homepage that selects some to display doesn't seem to be keeping them exclusive to the bio you're on anymore.
