You know that would not be bad idea to reset the whole counter back to zero for all models or to delete the obvious spam generated on some of the models gifts areas, OR my personal idea that I would prefer is the area for "Most Gifts Received" to be changed to "Recent Gifts Received" and show a random model that got a gift in the last 30 minutes or less and totally removing the counter from under the model picture.


This is a lesson really for any site developer in such a situation of creating a system that can be abused in such ways for person reasons by their users.

To sum up...
Im voting nuke the counters and make the images come up randomly in that area and any future area that has a counter system that can be abused in such ways.

Except during the 1st and 2nd of Sept when the free gift became non free gift for non vips, there was a period of approximately 24 hours where vip can send those gifts that is only free for vip unlimit times to the same model ( not 1 per hour ), that is also why you see one model receive over 3000 free gifts in one day from one single member. Now its fixed though.

My own girlfriend worked here in past did any of you see me spamming she is so great all time ? only time I did that was as a joke with her friend that worked with her and was our inside joke and only between their customers and the 2 models.

What happend here was im going to say again was cruel and remember whispers don't hide you here too (things done in whisper at the time of all this spamming was very cruel) , hurting other models here only damages the site for all the models that work here, remember some of these performers were the ones that made you come here originaly and register, yes new models appear all the time and we grow maybe to like them more, but lets not forget the other models are here and should always be treated with the same respect.

So going to end with please stop incouraging this behaviour the people that are doing it and it is not pro-model this behaviour... I will not name who you are doing this for the plain fact im really dissapointed in the people doing it and hope they change their ways before it all blows up in to something worse. Remember respect for all please.

i agree with purg 100% and am going to add my to this issue. gifts are a great way to show you care about the model and i commend flirt for actually thinking the gift giving through and allowing the models to make a little cash off them as well. touching on what purg just said though, i have the following to add:

i will not attack anyone in the forums because it's stupid to do so, but here's the long and short of it. i will stop short of saying ten different threads started by one member dedicated to one model is spamming the forums, but over-saturation of anything eventually becomes a bad thing. let's talk pop culture for a minute: anyone get tired of hearing about this damn health care bill or heidi montag's popularity stunts or even brett favre's retirement/unretirement? i for one do because it seems that it is just one thing after another beating your brain with a spiked baseball bat. this immediately makes me NOT want to hear or see anything else about them and anytime i do, i change the channel. and i used to like brett favre, i used to care about the health care bill and (sadly) at one point even thought heidi montag was hot - but that was a while back before they were everywhere i turned. i love concerts and music and i have a great time there, but if heidi montag showed up to a concert i was at and then they let her grab the spotlight, again, by jumping onstage and singing, i would probably leave the venue and be pissed that something else i love was ruined by this silicone barbie doll and her douchebag husband which would make me hate them even more.

since we all know that kimee is my fav i'm going to use her as an example here. how many threads have i started about her? two, maybe three? she knows how i feel about her and i don't need to constantly remind everyone else about it because honestly NO ONE REALLY WANTS TO CONSTANTLY BE REMINDED IF I THOUGHT SHE WAS BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE ON THE SITE - end of story. (which, for the record, i don't actually think she's better than any of the other models. she just does it for me in my happy places!!) the more threads you continue to post about one model, the more threads get bumped off the page about other models; and if that's the motivation for posting them then there is a different issue altogether that needs addressed. we've got to realize that there's a reason why women come in all shapes and sizes: because everyone has different tastes. that's not fair to the other models who are trying to make a living on here and actually use the forums the right way: to have fun and interact with the other members and models.

i make those two points to make this one: if i was posting kimee threads all the time i would be afraid she would turn into one of those examples above and i wouldn't be helping her, but actually turning people off to her, and in the end i would end up hurting her more than helping. sometimes the best intentions are what hurt the most. kimee knows where i stand with her. even when i go talk to other models, kimee knows where i stand. and while yes, i do name drop her in here every once in a while people don't go "NOT AGAIN" when they see it.

in conclusion A) i, nor is anyone else jealous that a model has fifty threads dedicated to them or B) that a model gets more gifts than my fav. it's awesome that models can draw that kind of fan base and i hope every model has at least a handful of people that regularly show her the love. even if the intentions start as pure, to see members sending a million gifts to one model and starting daily threads about them you have to wonder eventually: are they actually still even focused on the model or is this now just to inflate their own ego? when you start seeing people actually getting irritated with other members talking about their fav's, you might want to read the above examples one more time 'cause love and hate is a fine line and it doesn't take much to push someone over it. one thing i do know: constantly seeing someones name pop up everywhere you look is one surefire way to encourage someone to cross that line. Earlier this week, as some of you are aware, a bug opened up in the Virtual Gift system allowing VIPs to send as many free gifts as they wanted.

A few of you managed to send an impressive number of gifts. Special mention must be given to the fans of Axana and Sheryl who managed to send upwards of 8000 free gifts! We applaud your enthusiasm.

Unfortunately, these huge numbers were severely skewing the data presented in the virtual gifts system. We therefore have had to rectify the situation by removing the excess of gifts.

The most gifts that a user would have been able to send over 2 days, if all the normal rules were still in place, would have been 48 to each model up to a max of 20 models. We left this number of free gifts sent for each affected user and model in the database.

Apologies to you zealous gifters! We're sure your models appreciated the effort.
