True - hopefully if the site runs another contest like this one they set a limit BEFRE the contest starts

In contests like this i feel Less is sometimes more (Quality over Quantity.)

Question for the contest judges - what is a "day" defined as? Calendar day (what time zone) or 24 hours from my last vote? Thanks.

i have been reading this thread , and done a lot of thinking ..you guys are right ..so many photos ..but i'll refrain myself from further comments.if it is not in the rules not to post more then a certain amount of photos, then there we are.I have only uploaded one single photo..not even sexual

i do believe a photo contest should show some artistic skills too, not just nakedness or fetishes ..or simple body parts..we know how body parts look like ..right ?i have seen some photos i really appreciate..well done.but there are so many not worth being there.a woman's body is so beautiful ,when u take a picture, try to play with lights, camera, different angles, and don't think so much about showing as much as u can .just show off the woman that you are.

anyway my photo is a black and white , Audrey Hepburn style portrait of myself ;)

P.S : In no way i mean to disrespect anyone here.please take my post as a general referring to most models, as an advice from someone who had photo classes several years.see you around ;)

Well said. Guys, this contest was suppose to be fun for all those who decided to participate....members and models. If you do not or cannot see it as just that, don't participate, but at the same time, do not talk bad about the models who are in fact, just playing by the rules of the game. Perhaps F4F should have certain parameters applied to the contest, but this is the first time I believe they have ever done something like this so give them a chance to iron out all of the kinks before criticizing the site itself for trying something new. In many of the contest where the winner was picked based on credits alone, customers complained because they felt the contest winner should be based on votes, well now, here is your chance to vote for your favorite model and help increase her chances of winning. It is a fun contest guys in which the models get to show off their creative sides. Many of the models have taking out a lot of time and even paid a lot of money to have photos done for this contest and if they paid for the photos and want to display them they should be able too without being persecuted for doing so....just my shiny two nickels.

Carla is right. Just like other things, if you don't like it, don't like it then don't participate or read or whatever. It is that simple. Now...

This is a contest, yes, but it is much more than that. For Flirt it is a way to get some "advertising" of sorts for the site/models. Members or nonmembers see pics and then want to visit a model. So the more pics the better for the model and site too. There are a limited amount of pics in each bio, so for the models, it is a way to show off some more pics for a while. I would bet that the pics a model has that have the most votes will be in her bio after the contest, so win win for all. :twocents

Be better if they just listed the models involved in the contest and then have a link to see the photos they've uploaded for the contest.

I found most replies to be pretty tasteful. Mine excepted, which was on the more vulgar spectrum of rude. But most weren't persecutory. .

The response to the contest all around seems to be very positive, especially in the rooms. Some were not all that enthusiastic about another top model contest where the results were very much driven by minutes, most of us who spend more than a few minutes on the site know who the top-earning models are, that contest is about as nail-biting as an international American football contest where half of the teams aren't sure whether to run with the ball or throw it through a hoop somewhere. This photo contest appears much more democratic - take money out of the equation and the model you like may yet have her day in the sun. It seems a fun contest.

So it's disappointing that a loophole was utilized. Yes, it's within the contest rules as there's nothing to prevent flooding the pages, but it does little to help find that model who perhaps wasn't as cunning when she submitted only two or five photos, or to browse page after page to find the same repeated. I'd like to see the contest be successful, and unlimited entries seems like an oversight - hopefully it's corrected the next time they try this, and I still think the contest will go very well, with some (now noted) glitches.

And I don't mean to belittle or attack those models who posted so many photos - they're assuredly clever and extremely beautiful, beyond any compliments I can give, and doubtless know as much. But if you flood the pages so deliberately, are we not expected to take notice? Then the contest becomes a question of quantity overshadowing quality, and some criticism over such strategy in the forum is only natural. I hope the best photo wins, and a variety of models line the podium for the gold, the silver, the bronze, the aluminum, the tin foil, paper mache and glued-macaroni medals.. ANY model who wins this deserved to do so. Even the ones whose strategies I don't much encourage. That they pose for a damned lovely photo (or two, or two hundred) is still very much evident.

that reminds me of certain video games... no matter werhe you finished there was award designated for you.. even if it was 'most frantic shooter' or 'most likely to flee'... perhaps we can put a positive spin on the overkill by creating an award for most pics uploaded for the contest / in a day / in the same position and so forth :orglaugh

I agree with the 10 pic limit. Maybe the model could put up a different 10 for day 2, 3, etc. There are just too many pics to go through.

That's what I have done ;)
I did my original 10, then take requests and do a set each night before bed and post them for the new day

I think the models who are posting dozens and dozens of pics in themselves in similar poses or similar outfits are missing something...they're not giving themselves an advantage in the contest at all. Reason being, the members who like them have no idea which pics to vote for, and I'm sure they don't want to scroll through each one and take the time to vote for every single pic.

Therefore, the model is diluting her votes.

She's gonna end up with 100 pics, each having just a few votes, which will make it very difficult to win the contest!!

But maybe that's not the goal? Maybe it's more about self-promotion? I don't know.

Anyway, I too have been enjoying seeing everyone's pics. Chelsey Eden's are my favorite but, then again,s he's a GORGEOUS model

my curiousity got the better of me and I clicked on a pic to see if I could vote---and to my surprise I could.

Can everyone do this or is it a bug in the system?

You can vote for the same pic on different days if it is your favorite. You can not vote for the same pic in the same day however.

no the limit is 10 and some votes simply are not showing up i know of a few ppl who
have voted on mine and the tally has not changed including a cpl of vip's so this
issue is not only limited to standard members

I have had ppl tell me this too.... BUT I think it just says vote logged and after the 10 it just says the msg but just adds to views... Maybe.... maybe not

How about some percentage calculation?

For example:

Model A has 10 pictures and gets 100 votes for them. (100 : 10 = 10 points)

Model B has 40 pictures and gets 400 votes for them. (400 : 40 = 10 points)

In this case both models would have the same points, because of the percentage calculation which would be fair in my eyes...
