lmao.......Purg u crack me up !!!!!! Increase customer base? How would you know? When was the last time you went pvt? Increasing customer base also has to have customer satisfaction. This site is for the performers to make $....They are the bread and butter that makes this site what it is. If a performer has 120 people in their room all chatting that's kinda the same thing right as a lot of whispering going on isn't it? As I have said many times before this whisper feature needs to be refined. Maybe rather than ragging about getting rid of it we should make suggestions on how to improve it. Besides what's the big deal? The performer who receives the whisper can always ignore it ..they have the power within their software to ban the whisperer if it gets out of hand.....it's not like they are having their arm twisted to reply....right? If this site is to remain at the so called top of "Live video chat" empire it needs to expand it's services and you don't do that by not trying different things as most of you I hope agree and f4f isn't exactly the most efficient at making changes as many of the performers and members know...the one thing I would like to see though here on flirt is to offer the Cam2cam feature as a free option like most other sites. I hope that 2009 will bring more innovations to the site to benefit not only the performers but the members especially with the economic downturn that we are all experiencing..... :drinkup

totally agree with you, i d love cam to cam for more members here. I dont know how much is payed to be VIP but i'm sure a free cam to cam would be perfect, especially for my eyes mmmmmmmm

I am sorry to tell you this but i am sure you don`t know much how it works for a model, if model wants to ban somebody from her room she has to write the reason why she is banning the person so we can ban just really really annoying people we can`t ban everyone who is little bit annoying or we just don`t want him in room, so i don`t think some model would ban somebody just because he was whispering too much lol, cam2cam is aviable for vip and you have to accept it if will be cam2cam for all VIP members will be asking again for what is VIP membership good, i think that the fact white members can see what`s going on in pvt is enough, i don`t know why are you comparing other sites with f4f they are all way worse and there is long way to go for them to be as good as f4f is, i have spent here almost 5 years and i know what i am talking about..

I am certain this is a great site for the models here, but really for us customer, theres plenty out there that is much better. Why dont I pack up and leave, well theres more than a few great girls here and this recently discovered forum is one good positive here

If you want the whisper to continue and improved then why dont give some suggestions to make it better?
I personally think that if the whisper feature would come back improved or not im 100% sure that it would be abused again by models and costumers as they did this before.

Lets see this whisper feature from my own personal experiences...
When i logged in at Flirt4Free the 1st 5 or 6 rooms entered were empty chats without any chat activity at all. And also somehow suddenly i got in some words with some models and they were whispering bad words to me as they were smiling and pretended there was nothing wrong. Too many times it happened that when i entered an empty chat the model already whispered to me even before the video loaded. Usually when this happened after the "hello" and the "how are you?' part came the begging for pvt part. Besides that this was a major turn off it was also enormously annoying. I have spoken to other members about this things and they did the same as me, they left the room as soon as possible.

When you were new on Flirt4Free it must have been very confusing to enter empty chat rooms without any chat activity at all. As a gray boy on Flirt4Free its already very hard to get any attention at all and with this whisper feature they were totally ignored, so i think this didnt motivate anyone to join Flirt4Free and become a new member. When you are new you do need some motivation/reason to join, or am i wrong? It doesnt necessarily mean the model needs to talk to you but atleast you can see the model talks to other ppl/members. Which maybe motivates someone to become white or even VIP.

So from my point of view this whole whisper feature could have never been good for the business of Flirt4Free.

There are plenty of non sexual sites for those people who claims that the chatter is non existence in rooms cos people are whispering, this is an adult porn site, the models are here to do their job, yes they will ask you for a pvt, they could whisper their request or they could say it in open chat. I cant see where the problem is, if it squashes your ego, then get out of the room, with plenty of models online at different times of days, sure you can find a girl you can dominate in chat, good luck.

Let me tell you something from my experience regarding zero or very low conversation in open.
Sometimes it happens I have many members in my room and nobody wants to answer back to my hello. You can imagine I can t talk to myself. I think this can happen to everyone.
On the other hand so I want that whisper feature for somebody who has my eyes on me but he is too shy to talk to me :hitit

I love the wisper feature i dont use it much as i keep forgetting how to do it lol.
But yes i do agree with your statment some things need to be said in pvt and it would much better if the modles could wisper back. :thumbsup

SO BRING BACK THE WISPER FOR THE MODLES

I think the whisper feature was a good thing. Sometimes things were needed to be said privately between model and customer. However with that being said I do think it does need to be moderated. Maybe allowing customers 10 'whispers' a day or 5 per room might be adequate. Maybe making it an additional perk to VIP members. However I do think that if you aren't going to allow the models to use the feature customers shouldn't be able to either.

I always thought that things that need to be talked about privately...should be done just that way...in private. Then there is e-mail. Last time I e-mailed a model it worked fine. I have no problem with maybe a question or 2.or maybe a statement or 2 to a model is fine but for a customer to just sit and carry on conversation with a model via a whisper is nothing but being rude. Just the way I see this whisper option that has yet to work in a way that is good.

to bring back whispering for models.

I say let models decide whether they want whispering in their room, and even set it by level. Disallow it for greys, allow it for others, for example. And allow a model to silence annoying customers -- less than a ban (which sounds like it has some sort of review process, but a tool to let a model control his or her room.)

As for models whispering requests for privates upon entering his or her room... big freakin' deal! If you're so sensitive that this totally ruins your day, then I don't know what to do for you. Me, I just took that as a really great indicator that I wasn't gonna get along with that model. But it's hardly a reason to get rid of a very useful feature.

I just laugh when I read these posts from other customers telling us that whispering is resulting in fewer privates. Please, next time you post this sort of thing, show us your stats. I'd love to see 'em.

i dont know if its been said before.. or if vs even reads these...

but I think whisper should be back for models to whisper only to people who have taken us private once before (or 2 or 3 times..whatever, up to VS) basically either whisper only for someone who has taken us private before -- OR only for our regulars. which I think is a good idea. I mean, you can always email back and forth but that takes time and is annoying to refresh your email every minute when the guy is in your room anyway..

or be able to let us whisper to VIPs..

give us SOMETHING !! :|

Whisper should be either for BOTH model and customer or for nobody.

Personally I did not like the whispering but it is beginning to grow on me as long as it is used in moderation.

Reading the concerns about abuse I guess the moderation part has to be enforced somehow.

I like whisper and I think models should be able to so they don't look like they're talking to themselves. I personally like it because I like to talk to a model before going private to feel out her personality, and I might be joking around and making her laugh and then a new guy might pop up and try to add on to something we've said to amuse her...and me and the model both end up thinking "what the hell is this guy talking about?".

The only problem I've seen with whisper is a model could be talking to a specific customer they like, but some guy that BADLY needs attention comes in and notices the model is typing without words popping up. So he starts crying and asking who she's talking to and how she's ignoring him, etc etc. Let the models whisper too! :bulb

The answer is very simple. Just let people called yowzer use the whisper option plus whoever he is talking to.

Then whispering will not be abused by the masses. Just by me :drinkup
