Has anyone been "redirected" out of a room with a message the performer has logged out, when she had just went break for a minute or so and had already returned?

yes, its been brought up a couple times here. I'm pretty sure it's because the system doesn't stop the inactivity timer, and redirects you out even though they came back and the timer should have been stopped and reset.

Maybe if I post it often enough F4F will see it and do something about it, or at least leave a message that they are aware of the problem.
At the moment I feel they are not interested in my continued contribution to there income.

Yes I just tried linux here too with a home compiled version, a few standard distros, one I use for server setups and one I have built into the motherboards Solid State Drive that I updated to latest version too, they would not load the video and it spins round all time trying to load the video and the chat applet never shows but it looks like it's loading but not running right so just looks like it never loaded.

Not sure whats up there unless I start uncompiling the applets and checking if they are connecting and loading right.. VS maybe worth sticking linux on a system and checking this out too, many set top boxes and multi media devices in the home do use linux.

_sweet sorry mate not really sure how much more can help you with that because I really use linux for certain types of servers I setup and some network security tools not really for web browsing.. One for the VS camp to fix and i'm sure they will in time.

For now there is many sister sites on the internet for flirt4free still using the old interface .

www.falconlive.com guys section only of f4f

Etc...

And these work for linux and people having problems with the new chat for now, but remember they will also convert all these sites to the new chat at some point so if you are not a linux user and having some problem with Windows or a Mac opening the chat report the problem and ask for help here, could be your computer not the site and if found to be the site will give the tech something to work with and fix.

a list of other sites there run by vsmedia some are using the old chat still there so if you dont like the layouts/colours of the others can use one of them for now. Remember same user names and passwords you use on flirt4free will work on any of them sites, also you can go private there with same passwords and username just like before on flirt4free its same site as before with a branding thats all.

Hope they fix the problem soon though, have a large screen and the bigger video in open would be welcome

You're welcome mate happy you figured out you can go to the old chat via other sister sites for now.

Yes the new interface took some time to get use to but have to say liking it more everyday and the larger video on a large screen is nice

Just would like the option to open more then one room at a time in an easy way and to not fall in same room everytime a room closes and makes the rest of the rooms I have open start to flip out if there is more then one of the same room open.

So far :thumbsup

for the new interface and thanks vs for fixing the model menu so we can open all the sections now like before.

Also vs I know you are testing this new interface and trying to get as much traffic on the new interface as you can for testing but maybe worth adding a link on the main page if people want to use the old style flirt4free for a few more weeks untill all the bugs are worked out for the open room chat or stick a link that directs them to a sister site like hustlerlive for now till all is well for all the operating systems in use and browsers. Some of these guys are also complaining the cam2cam feature on the new chat is not working too so maybe in private have the option to use the old cam2cam interface there too so that works for people having no cam2cam in the new interface.

Just an idea so not to upset customers and reduce privates in this time of testing.

Still cannot deactivate names when I try to change a name . I will wait 1 week and try Customer Service then if no fix .

You mean with the audio you heard it or did the text chat from private come out in open room ?

Because the private chat text coming out in open room has been fixed. i'm not seeing that after it was reported and fixed.

I would advise everyone to clear their temp files and cookies in the browsers they use to make sure they are getting the new code and updates .. if you right click on the video or chat area you should see it say Flirt4Free v3.0.26 that's the most current version of the software they are using at moment. Also if you find the room does something strange try (CTRL +F5) or hold down CTRL and click refresh in the browser that will force a full refresh and get the latest code from the sites servers.

Just spotted one now regarding model bios.
I was clicking Moesha's bio tab in her room and it would open a new page and normally would show the bio, but in her case and a few others it shows "The performer's bio you requested is not available. Please choose a different performer."

this has happened to me also several times. is it a design problem or should we name the model it happens with?

This will happen if the model has not yet set up their bio.

The censor is still trying to block users typing normal chat there, said I was spamming at 1st then web protocols and then 10min ban ...

Yes, it's still not perfect (yet). A minor change went out this morning to tweak some of the spam filters to improve them and we're analyzing each block so we can see if it was accurate or not and will continue to make changes.

It's a fine balance between keeping the spammers out and disrupting normal conversation. I fully appreciate the fact that it's VERY ANNOYING to get blocked for writing what you have every reason to believe is a non-spam message; trust that we're working hard to improve this.

I didnt see anything about addressing the c2c issues. The test page works fine but in show when you hit the start c2c button it brings up the allow or deny settings but doesnt do anything. After that it wont even bring up the settings anymore.

Sorry if we missed this, but c2c is working fine again.

Navigating the forums is much easier when the topics you have visited change color after you have read them, and change color again when someone has posted to anew thread.

Ahh, I love that feature too. Added it. You may need to CONTROL + REFRESH to pick up the changes.

Maybe it is the monitor or monitors I use, but to me the video seems softer...not as crisp or sharp as it was. But that is one thing, since this a video site...nice crisp video...but to me it does seem softer...anyone else notice this? :twocents

I do like the new gift option, something a little different a bit more personal than a simple email. But what is missing is a notification that I have one. Although I'm not expecting to receive gifts, I have been fortunate to be a receiver but I had no idea one was waiting. Luckily I decided to check and one was waiting for me. I would think something similar to the "Inbox" notification could be used to notify people they have "new" gifts waiting. :twocents

After hearing friend's privates in 3 different rooms [left early] - I have decided to leave Flirt4Free until they a few things get fixed :twocents

Names I can type in - violation of privacy and not even lip service from Admin

I will be here sometimes on Flrum

I will be using a sister site until further notice to visit models .
Sound is horendous . I hit F5 and refreh . Cleared my cache. Got new Flash Player . Did all that was suggested here and I find the new interface not acceptable at this time .
I understand somethings needed to happen
Poor performance of Flirt4Free / Video Secrets to not announce when they would switch to new interface :twocents

I seriously question the need for this upgrade. Whats the point? Upgrade just for the sake of change? Flirt made the user interface worse, the chat censor worse, the video and audio worse, they made the look of the site worse, wheres the damn upgrade? Bigger video? You could have kept the last system and just made the video part bigger, problem solved. Instead you do this massive overhaul and made everything different just to say 'look we're different please come back to the site'. I have to say I am not impressed and from a business standpoint it doesn't make much sense.

This is New Coke all over again.

Yes seems alot like when "new" coke came out...I wonder if flirt will listen to the customers as coke did, or continue on the path they have taken...which does seem to upsetting a lot of people. :twocents

I also would like this, but at least adding the "Default" buttons to your SN screen so you don't have to load and immediately switch was helpful to me for now. But "I'm the invisible man", I liked being able to come up with a quick creative name and enter a room as nobody once in awhile.

how many saved Screennames can you have (if theres a limit)? I try to keep some anonymous but then a regular gets sad when they say hi and I don't respond and I end up telling them who I really am to keep them happy :angel

The maximum number of saved screen names is 5. You can deactivate one and then create a new one, but you will always be limited to 5 active.
