I have been looking at this list for the past few weeks. I am so very confused by it. I can understand how a model moves up in the list after they are done for the day...ok. I can even understand why they go down when they have not been on. But here is where I get confused, how can models move up and down in this list, when they have not been working? How can I do this in life? :smoking

The top twenty list is much like F4F's email service--screwed up and unpredictable. I pay no attention to the top 20--I got tired of watching my pic go from ten to three when I hadn't worked for the previous two days! And in the words of the GREAT and OMNIPOTENT Judge Judy: "If it doesn't make sense, it isn't true." How's that? :guitar

I have seen a few explanations that make sense to me:

1. there really is no order. The first picture does not mean the most popular model.
2. the measurement to get on the list is the percentage of pvt time to on-line time. So, if a model is on-line, and gets no pvts, her percentage drops and other models, even if not on-line, might move up. Smlar to being off-line. If a model has a good day and has a high percetage of pvt, she will move up if the group as a whole doesn't beat her average.

But then, does anyone really know?

I think top 2%

best I did was top 4% and I was not on the top 20 list i dont think, however occasionally there is just a blank box appearing as it seems would be for a canadian model who has our region blocked. So not sure...... but almost pos top 2%

Also, I think to answer the original question.. could have to do with VODs as well? when model is offline, popular VODs can keep that model in the top 20 list.

List fluctuates every hour, much like the "discount contest" days... --

if model does not have VOD available, but is very popular when she is online and in pvt.. she will be in top 20.. but will quickly drop back out after she logs off.

if model is popular in vod and also good for PVT during that time, she will bounce around the list depending on the competition.

for example, we all know axana is amazing and beautiful and is very hard to not see her in pvt -- yet, no VOD.. so will drop out of top 20 quickly when she is not online.

i'm not really sure how low the percent has to be to be on top 20 list actually. It would be great to find that out. But I completely agree with the last post. I have my VOD's available...Only b/c I don't know how to turn them off, other then ask the lucky man on the other side of the screen!!! HAHAHAHA.

Has anybody else had trouble with this email system?

I have had people tell me that they are writing me - at times w/attachments and I never receive the emails.

I also do not believe that people are receiving my emails.

Another problem I am having is that my VODs are not showing up for some reason.

I have close to 60, but am only showing 46 or 47 available.

Also, I have a person who is dying to become a member, but this site keeps booting him off for no reason.

Talk about bad for business! :evil

I have experimented a lot with this. If certain things are included in a "message", for example an email address, the entire message is deleted by the system and you won't receive it

I have been in the top 2% for a couple weeks now and I occasionally pop into the top 20, but I don't really understand it either. Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not. Doesn't really make any sense to me. I figure if you are the top 1% it is likely that you would be in the top 20 all of the time, who knows. Maybe it isn't even really based on percents and ratios! Most of the times that I have popped into the top it has been after I am done for the night! Haha, no idea...

even if you are in top 1%, if more than 20 girls at in the top 1% then only the top 1% can be there... this is why we rotate. Especially as the month nears its end, more girls will be in the top 1 and 2% verses scattered all over.

Tiffany -- your viewers can request their privates be made PRIVATE..for them/you only..so when people see how many VOD you have, it will always be lower than your actual number.
as for the person wanting to be a member, have him call customer support. Because guys will often use it as an excuse to get freebies.. "it wont let me register, let me see free here.".. customer support is very helpful and will figure out his problem with him.

And jeff is right.. a lot of times people will send me emails such as with links to their networking profile or whatever, or email, or phone number, all of which blocks the entire message.. so you will see you have new mail..but when you go to click on it, nothing shows up...

The two men who want to be members are long standing friends of mine. I know they do not want freebies like so many greys do. They are fans of mine who have followed me for years.

They can't even make a chat room because they are being booted.

I did advise them to call customer service.

And regarding VODs, your explanation is great and helped me a lot. Now I know why some of the VODs are not showing up.

vods if their vod were being watched that much ...would'nt they be in most watched vods list ???
i thought of that and neither one of them ..have vods in most watched ....i mean that has to be a lot of vods being watched to take them from completely off the list to #14 on the list 2 hrs later

nope.

most watched is totally different,

and likewise.. girls in the "most watched VODs" are not necessarily in the most viewed list..

Point is Lots of PVT time + lots of VOD views = top 20 placement.

If a model is on the top 20 list already, people will visit her page frequently to check out her VOD.. which bumps her around the list.

If a girl is , as you say, not on the list -- and two hours later gets bumped on -- yes, perhaps she had a lot of VOD in that time.

Also consider the top 20 list is updated every hour.

For example, as I mentioned before... a top model like Axana will be put on #1 quickly -- say another top model like Aries Knightly is in #2

axana does not have VOD.. Aries does

Say they both log off
Over time, not only will axana slip down because no VOD
Aries could possibly move up, or at least remain (or just slip down slower than normal) because of her VOD sales

Also... "most watched VODs"... could be most watched this hour..could be most watched this week.. or most watched this month.. or year.. ;)
