When scratching our heads to come up with the promo calendar for August we had an idea ... let's show our appreciation for all of the hard working and talented performers on the network by creating the BIGGEST CONTEST EVER on Flirt 4 Free!

With that goal in mind we built the "Model Appreciation Days" contest which kicks off on Wednesday July 28th and runs through August 31st. Performers will compete for $1,000 / day in prize money and customers will benefit as well.

Each day we will have a 24-hour contest with a $1,000 prize for the winning performer. The contest will be in one of two formats:

1. TOP MODEL. The top model based on total credits, regardless of gender, will win!

2. RANDOM DRAW. All models who generating at least 10,000 credits will be entered into a random drawing with one lucky model taking home the $1,000 prize.

Each day that a performer wins we will also reward his/her top fans. Each member in the list of top 10 fans when the performer wins will receive $50 in free credits. You'll receive this prize even if you didn't use any credits with that model on that day. We will email the lucky fans the day after each winner is determined.

Performers were notified about this contest yesterday and the excitement is already building. We'll have a page up on the site starting at 12:01am on Wednesday, July 28th where you can check the standings.

On the 30,000 credits I'm guessing its the first model to hit that is the automatic winner. right?

Concerns/Suggestions:

1. Seems like its one-sided because the models who practically live online are apt to win

2. Would seem more fair if a model was exluded once they won either the 30,000 or the random draw thus giving other models a chance

3. Why not give members who have spent something in the last 30 days some free credits? For example if you bought 300 credits you get 1/5th that amount or 60 credits. You could put a cap on it and say the most you can earn is 1500 credits.

In the above example you could change the time frame to be less like 10 days, 2 weeks, etc.

What's wrong with working alot? If this is a models primary income then she will be online more. Or if she is doing well why not work more ?

Not as I read it. The winnner is the model who ends up with the most credits for the day, provided the number of credits is at least 30,000, and regardless of who reaches 30,000 first

A model who reaches 30,000 credits and then logs out could be "overtaken" by another model who keeps working and ends up with more than 30,000 for the day

If no model reaches 30,000 credits on the day there is no winnner for that day

Nothing is wrong with working a lot. I'm just saying that it would be nice if the same models didn't win all the time give other models a chance to compete and win.

BTW, I remember reading in another thread where another member suggested something along this line---I am thinking it was the promo theme suggestion thread--but could be wrong.

It's starting to look like this promotion is not and will not be the super hero that it was intended. I think if you want to encourage models to be online you need to cater to ALL of them, not just a very select few.

Benefit to models = :thumbsup

It's fine and dandy to reward members for helping their favourite model, but giving it to his or her Top 10?????? I don't really care how they accumulate their points, be it spending 2hrs on this site, or 60 minutes a day in the same chatroom, or blow $600 on a private show.

I enjoy spending what little free time I have in various chatrooms, where as Joe Schmuck sitting in North Bend, Indiana has all night to sit in any given chatroom, rack up points like they're going out of style, get into the Top 10 and with this sort of contest, get rewarded for it if his/her model of choosing wins. Another thing that bothers me, is that if I were to spend what little disposable income I have on my favourite model, and she wins, I get squat and her Top 10 gets $50 in free credits because of money I spent.

If you really wanted to make it fair for all, I've got two suggestions:
1)Those who helped that model get to the magic number, get $50 in free credits or something. Sure, it will probably cost more, but with the min credits to qualify being 10/30K, wouldn't you still come out even, if not ahead.
2)10 recipients chosen through a random drawing out of those who have used credits on the winning model in the past 14 days

This competition is not a bad idea, there are a few good ingredients in it, but i have a bad feeling about it.

In the first post of this thread, you can't read that the best model of the day (minimal 30.000 credits) not just wins $ 1.000,-, but also 20 bonus-points for the other contest (Worlds top cam model), that is going on for over a month already.
You can read about these extra bonus-points in the "adult model blogs" female section.

I understand the idea behind it: In the summer, there is not as much business as usual here and they want to seduce the top-performers to appear on the site in the summer, by offering them the chance to win money in 2 contests.

However, models like Vixanna Velvet, Roxy Rayne and Nichole Heartwell, who are now in the top of the 'World's top cam model' list, because they have worked their asses off in the month July, can be overtaken easily by the top models, who will only appear in august. Winning 20 bonus-points 1x or 2x, is probably enough to overtake the runners-up in the top cam model list.

When the World's top cam model contest started, the models didn't know that other models could score these bonus-points, because these change of rules was just recently.

Through my work, I know what is going on in business-life and i think that the first thing every company should do is being honest towards their customers, towards their employees and in this case also towards the models who make the site into what it is. :twocents

I have posted something similar in the VIP forum a few days ago, but no respons there....
FYI: it doesn't give me a kick whether my posts are read or not/answered or not, I just like justice here and everywhere.

I have absolutely no problem with this contest. My big issue is there has not been one special for the members since it has started. There are alot of us that do spend on our favorites and it seems the site is looking to take advantage of this at regular prices--hate to say it but count me out. My favorites already no my feelings and understand.
