Been there, done that.

I'm supposed to be working right now.......never mind a full day of meetings and shit ahead of me. Somewhere in there, I'm supposed fit some sleep in there. Yeah, not gonna happen.

Fun times................ :thumbsup

Snap.. Since I started University and the late night partying caused a lot of my sleep problems and later in life strange working hours made it worse... I sleep if lucky most days 4-5 hours and weekends I try sleep in if I can... Luckily not really a big sleeper but it kinda annoys the girlfriend some nights i'm not in bed with her. She's a really big sleeper to add...

I hear best cure for it is to spend more time in bright sunlight to get your internal clock back to normal and staying off caffine and alcohol products. Also eating at set times in day that are normal hours for meals will help too.

I'm lucky, I'm probably the world's best sleeper

Often I fall asleep as I'm getting into bed and before my head even hits the pillow

4-5 hours later I wake up and immediately get out of bed - no sleeping in for me!

I feel sorry for all you insomniacs

What's this mythical 'sleep' you talk of?

Heads off in search of dictionary, hmmm lets see. Shhh, slate, sle, Sleep. Ahhh that's what it means.

SLEEP -- The few hours a day you want to relax and just forget about the world and have some peace and quiet but are thwarted by arseholes next door letting their devil spawn scream and annoy the fuck out of you.

( as you may tell i dont get much sleep. 3 - 4 hours a day on average, 6 hours is good for me. )

I'm like Suggs 3-4 hours every night 6 is good but rare.

Purg has some sound advice but I will add a good session of sex and a hot tub or sauna at the conclusion. Should help for about a week and then do it all over again !!! :winkwink

Actually if you can work the sauna thing on a daily basis or a few times a week. It will make you feel like a million bucks, and your skin/complexion will look more radiant and healthier than ever :twocents

When I get this I usually get up and go jogging, yeah even in the middle of the night. But I live in a little village with a little bit of forests, fields with horses and everybody there knows mine name. So nobody start shooting while I m jogging mine miles. physical exhaustion helps you get back into natural rhythm

better than any sleeping pill (didn't try them to compare but Im guessing), keep away from them some can be really bad for ya.One made mine friend blind on right eye's, well not completely blind but he sees 70% with it. Also It can mess you up mentally. I knew a girl like that worked sometimes 24/7, to become a millionaire or something I guess. took pills to stay up than to go sleep. You can keep that up for quite long but than man with the hammer comes along, it was a mess O_o. I knew a cam girl like that too her lifestyle made me worry about her. But we all grownups here so I guess we know what we doing, right?

There is other trick if you wake up in the middle of thenight and can't get in to sleep again. Get out of your bed and put your feet in cold water or put your feet under cold shower,. Than don't dry them and go straight to bed. It suppose to make you sleepy.

Also warm milk help you to relax. So does Camilla tea Lavendula, stronger are Mellisa and Valerian the last 2 can have strong side effects like anxiousness, lost of temper, moodiness and depression.

most of you got insomnia from working till way way past midnight I don't think you get insomnia from partying way way past midnight

so party on

Avoid stress in your work and in your life. Stay relaxed, whatever happens. Look forward, think optimistic, keep smiling.Don't drink too much alcohol and stay away from drugs.

! Most important of all: avoid self-pity !

Remember that complaining about insomnia too much and too often, could irritate the people around you and cause even more stress and even more insomnia.
Insomnia is not a disease, but just something in-between the ears.

I wish everybody will sleep like a rose.

No, i mean just behave normal and stop all the self pity, nobody likes complaining people :winkwink

PS. I could bear the cowshit, but the bees in my ear could be a serious problem

(you are obviously from the same country as the hammer house of horror :drinkup

You have deleted your post, but i agree with you (although its not the right thread)
G-mann loves himself and his posts so much, that he bumps them up and up again.
We in Holland are more modest and we like people for what they are, and not for what they pretend to be.
I don't like this guy either.

Stick to the topic sleazyfellow, don't get another thread removed
