LMFAO@this place being a democracy. It's not, it never has been, and it never will be.
As to other aspects of this thread...it's called DUAL ROLES. Yes, you can be a friend to a model, and yes, you can also be a customer. What seems to be overlooked, time and time again in multiple threads (so I am just going to post it here), is that it sometimes reaches a point where a model doesn't need a friend, she needs rent money. It's hard to buy into the "oh, I'm your friend and here for you" or "I want to take a few weeks in chat to get to know you" BS when your landlord is knocking on your door demanding your rent, or you have medical bills. At that point, WE ARE ALL JUST CUSTOMERS, and if the model doesn't think you're going to buy a show, or tip, or whatever, she is going to focus on, and support, the chatters she knows will. Been there, lived it, sick of the clueless bastards who don't get it. So I just have fun on this side of things, and try to make models smile, laugh, and hopefully make their shifts more enjoyable.
The manipulative models comment...um... that's 90% of the job. To be the fantasy that you want them to be. Models who sit there and repeat "cum see my hot pvt" in reply to everything you say were probably taught to do so by their studio, and quite possibly the only English they know. Promises to meet in person could be brought on by the relentless pressure by whoever to do so. Taking a model private just to ask when they're going to meet up with you and let you fuck them is just awkward, and puts models in a bad spot. Lose the private show money that she uses to buy FOOD? Or keep it going for as long as she can and hope someone else steps in to buy shows when that guy finally bails. I can promise you that they aren't telling that particular lie to some random chatter who hasn't gotten a show before, or a chatter who isn't on the "game" list as a top spender. Again, a studio can play a part there too..."tell them whatever they want to hear to keep them in private".
Public apologies aside, both mine and others, this is a stressful occupation and I greatly admire the models who are able to hide that stress, and yes sometimes anger and tears, better than I was. There are a great many wonderful people here, customers and models alike, but reality is reality in the end, whether we like it or not. Just have fun, and don't take anything personally. It is, after all, just a video feed with words on a screen.
