so with the way the economy is right now i know it's been difficult for many people (including myself) to be able to take models pvt as often as we'd like to. and for the newer models it's even more difficult considering they haven't built that steady clientele yet. as I'm sure you have noticed, over the course of many of my posts, that i like to help out the newer models and try to get them going so that they too have the opportunity to make that almighty dollar as well!

while we've all got our regular girl(s), we all want the new models to succeed. and that got me to thinking: how can i personally help the newer models a bit more? i mean, i've started a thread FOR ALL THE NEW MODELS that i've tried to compile as much info to get the newbies going in the right direction as we can. i've personally made an attempt to visit as many of the new models as i can to say "hi" and just get to known them a bit more. and then it hits me... most of these new models haven't had an actual "busy" night yet to generate some traffic in their room!!

it's a proven fact that if there's a lot of people in your room, then it will tend to attract morea lot of us have played the "if it's busy i'll stay" game when we go into a models room. and for most of the new models, their room's aren't busy yet because they haven't established regulars quite yet.

what i want to do is propose a way to do just that: :guitar

rock out a room at least one time so that when people pop in they'll see it busy and want to stay. so my proposal is what i'm calling: FRI NIGHT ROOM PARTIES!!

these parties are open to everyone, including other models (which is encouraged) who aren't working. it seems i have a small posse i travel with on here, so each fri night we'll pick a different model to go visit and "party" in her room! (by NO MEANS am i trying to say these models are better than any of the others on here, i'm just trying to make sure everyone gets the chance to have a good night!! :thumbsup

) i'm also not too worried about this drawing people away from our regular models.. they're going to keep people in their rooms already.

i will discuss and choose new model each week. models can be nominated by members or the model can put her own name in the hat! but here's the RULES:

one) she has to be less than six months on the site
two) if you are a model who wants a party then you're going to have to be on at least one fri night (i.e no daytime parties)

so tell me what you guys think? who DESERVES to have the welcoming committee stop by and give them some business?! :drinkup

hopefully this will go over well and not upset the other models who are not that weeks chosen one! flirt actually took this thread down earlier and re-posted it back in the forums so we need to bump it back to the top!

since it was down all day i couldn't promote my first party properly so we will have to re-do the first one again...

i'll post a schedule of models once i get some feedback from the ones who want one. it would be much appreciated if the other models who are getting a party would visit at least one other models party.

(this is just a way to get the name out there and get the chat room going.. so hopefully it will result in some pvts, but don't be upset if you don't get a night full of pvts!!)

i agree. what would be cool about these parties is that it would be the one guaranteed day that we would all be online at the same time, so not only do you get to see a new model, but we also get the chance to catch up with each other in a chat room. hopefully some members will make a commitment to joining the "fri night posse"... :drinkup

absolutely, that's why there is no particular start time for them! although i'd like to have at least a few of the hours overlap each week (whether the beginning or end of the party) that way we keep them consistent. we'll take it on a week by week basis, but no model will be excluded because of it. :thumbsup

gdiddy...I love this idea!

I guess I've been one of the fortunate models, because, even though I haven't been able to be on much, when I AM on, my room stays pretty full...it was last night!!! Yay!!! The hardest part, for me, is trying to keep up w/everybody and make sure they know I see them. Some get upset and think you're ignoring them, when it's not that AT ALL!! Guys, pls realize that we're trying to talk to several of you at one time! LOL

Seems a good idea but I am concerned about the time differences.
11pm Friday night in Russia is what, 3pm Friday afternoon in New York? Just as 11pm in Colombia or the States is 4, 5 or 6 am Saturday in Europe. Even a Friday night party maybe Saturday brunch or lunch in Australia!

I would also like to suggest that, as these are parties to instigate chat and what ever develops, whispering should be banned or a mutual agreement between the models who participate and the regular posters here that it will be kept to a minimum. Nothing worse at parties than the whispering "click" in the corner.

I work some Friday nights [like last night]

Parties were good on Tuesday and Wednesday already :guitar

consider this post us putting our own names in the hat as we would absolutely love to have a friday night party!!
we had our first show last night, there were alotta greys in there who I know werent really interested but.... we still got 2 private shows out of it!
hopefully tonight will be even better! we are so excited!

folks i have re-worked the party format and re-posted it as CHAT ROOM PARTIES! here's a copy and paste of my ammendment:

ok, so after receiving some great feedback i've decided to re-structure the FRI NIGHT CHAT ROOM PARTIES post and am renaming it CHAT ROOM PARTIES!!

a few of the concerns were:

**different nights of the week would work better for some models
**some members have to work during that time on fri nights
**time zone issues
**some models are premier even though they've been here for two weeks
**chat room whispering issues
**audio

so with that in mind i have amended my original rules for the parties to look like this:

one) we will have one official chat room party each week and will rotate days to be able to involve more people
two) start times will vary depending on what works well for the model, but we'd like to keep them around the same time of day so "regular" party members can come
three) no premiere model is eligible for a party
four) we would like whispering kept to a minimum for these parties. it's not much of a chat when there is no chat!
five) model must agree to have audio on in chat

i will e-mail the chosen model each week to concur time and then post a party notice in the forums for that week! what would be cool is if each member that is gonna come just jot a little note on that post.. the more people others see coming could encourage more to follow.

hopefully as these parties become the hip thing we will have more and more of a regular crowd and each week different members will be able to take the model pvt so they get a few more that day! :thumbsup
