Just so you know from a members stand point. When a model logs out, if we are still in their room, the system will send us to another models room randomly.

It is possible that some of these folks just "sitting and staring" in your room are actually folks who went afk earlier and ended up in your room.

Other than that, best advice I can give you. Be yourself, personally greet people as you see them end up in your room. Stick with it, and your people will find you.

yes ... as the hideous Couch says .. though i think that you should take that additional step ... consider them not as 'almost' imaginary but rather as totally imaginary ... create a sense in yourself that you are completely delusional and conduct conversations with yourself but directed at them ... i am sure that both you and the silent presences in your room list with find that quite satisfying.

good luck and best wishes in the land of cam!

I am so new to this cam model world. I am enjoying it but it is very slow in the beginning phase. It's so weird when they sit in my room and don't talk to me...Just staring :/
I guess they are feeling me out...Makes me feel uncomfortable. I guess I still need to adjust to being on camera and talking to almost imaginary people lol

I used to feel exactly the same way but in time, you will get more comfortable around the "silent lurkers". Not EVERYONE in your room is going to talk to you - in all honesty, some arent even there, lol! If a member stays in a performers room for 60 consecutive minutes, they collect 60 points which they can use to powerboost you so there are those few who open many tabs and just hang there to collect the points.

In my experience, they mostly want you to be you. I actually hold informal "focus groups" in my room from time to time and ask what is on everyone's mind, and the general consensus is that they come here to meet people. Just like in real life, some will adore you, and some will not. Some will be sweet, and some will be rude. Just remember, most of them come here for the human interaction that differentiates this type of adult website from porn

oh dear

so elegant and indicative of your intelligence. The Salons of the 17th and 18th century were much the same ... I've written of them and the metaphorical similarity to cam-sex-sites. However, like the Salons the under-layments are still primitive, with rankings and rewards and gifts of attention, and those other gifts you are genteelly omitting.

Adroit though of you to note one of the male motivations to fall prey to these lovely 1000 salons of delight, offered for payment. (GOD) how I miss party chats where tips are laden for poetry readings and dress up with more clothing for compensation. *sigh* ah I do miss those days.

As I've noted repeatedly in so many places here and there across the interwebs ... there are only a very few select 'humans' who can carry on a conversation, especially when the other 99 percent are obsessed with chanting 'tits bb' 'u r so hot' and all the other humor that someone on the tube of you has posted ridicule and high drudge about.

I like your brain girl ... keep it up. (smiles in gratitude for this opportunity to rant)

(heart)(flower)(kiss) ... it ends like this

read my post in this thread. ;)

Doll this is the customer forum ... most readers do not have access to that; and probably dumping the url out was an error ... a tweet or an f'male or a visit to her room would have been better.

I'm pretty sure she was telling the model to read that post.

Well I would like to invite you to stop by my room sometime!

I am pretty confident in my ability to carry on a conversation. In fact, I will take this opportunity to be a brat and say that my first degree was in Speech Communication, emphasis in Intercultural Organizational Communication, minor in Psychology lol

In other words, cum see me cuz I ain't no dumbass cam slut lol
