I am new. How do I know if I am on camera? Quote

..

If your laptop webcam follows you across the room, and as you're about to put your bra back on says in a calm Space Odyssey-esque HAL voice, "I'm sorry Dave. I wouldn't do that if I were you.", I'd guess you were camming.

If you see text from guests saying anything to the effect of "Mmm nice bb, shoe titi no", you're candidly on camera.

Should Uncle Vito not be able to make eye contact with you and sweat vociferously around you at Thanksgiving, I'd imagine you made it on cam. And try not to find yourself alone with Uncle Vito.

.. but really if you're logged into your account and you see a video stream on one side and the text box on the other, you're broadcasting. Guys will tell you if your cam doesn't work, they rarely stick around to wank at empty spaces. Well, rarely is relative I guess. Quote

Yes, we would tell you if your cam isn't working or is froze up.;) Quote

we would take screen shots of you in awkward positions or grimacing at what a grey says and send them to you to prove that your camera was not working.

we might also suggest that you contact your studio or VS for assistance in solving the issues. you would have my full support in giving them the screen captures as a visual aide in helping them understand. They wear fez's you know.
