i was talking to a model the other day who was thinking about going premiere instead of staying standard. so i wanted to bring it to the forums and get everyone's honest opinion about what they think of models who are in premiere or switch into them. i know there's a thread about this in the vip area but i wanted to see what EVERYONE, not just vip's thought of the topic.

members please do not name specific models if stating any examples.

1 day I saw a model in Regular afer seeing her in Premiere - there was a big difference

Models in Premiere continue to be in private even more often . It is good as long as model earns 50% more

I don't understand when a NEW model with no privates and no reviews are there

I won't spend money there [yet] until I know the model :twocents

I believe there is a market for all types offered here including Premiere :drinkup

I agree 100% Bart. I saw someone in Regular Private after seeing her in Premiere and I did notice a big difference in quality. The quality for regular private is not bad, don't get me wrong, but once you get used to seeing someone in Premiere it isn't the same. It is like watching football or Nascar on a non-HD channel now, it isn't the same. :twocents

My honest opinion at this time is Premiere is something that I will ONLY use if all models are using it and not regular, it will cut the number of private shows I partake and / or shorten them. Will this be my position in say 6 months from now if theres still models using regular I'm not sure.

I've spoken to all my faves and had good chats with them to explain my full views regarding premiere and they will remain between me and the model.

Personally if a model thinks she will get the same amount of business in premiere ( eg total amount of minutes in pvt per week ) then let them go for it. But i agree that models that have only been here for what seems like 5 minutes should not be given the option. maybe make the 1st 3 months they work the site be regular chat for ALL groups ( including couples ) then add Semi-pvt and Multi-User options for the next 3 months, and if after the 6 months are completed the performer is consistently getting a high enough amount of pvt time then they should be given the option to go to premiere with a review every 3 months - If the minutes drop they lose premiere !

Am I being harsh with the whole quarterly review scheme? - maybe but its fair in my opinion,
Will my idea be looked at by bosses? - very much doubt it so.
Will my idea be liked by all models that are using premiere but only make a small amount of minutes? Most likely no.

Quite frankly, these girls on here deserve the best !!! They are way under paid for privates and their VOD`s should they choose to have them on the site for viewing. If they got paid a little more than let`s say $1.50 - $2.00 a private. Maybe there would have been no need for premiere(?) Anyway...If they can get it from customers why the fuck not ? Kudos to the beautiful models on flirt :winkwink

Personally I won't go into premiere.

I have no doubt that the video quality is better, as someone stated, the difference between HD and regular TV.

The fact of the matter is, it's still a 2D image, and I just can't imagine it being $3 per minute better. If they were to go to all premiere all the time, it would be time for me to move along to other regions of the internet.

I'm sure the models make more per minute of pvt in premier, and good for them. If they can get it, I don't blame them.

I am curious to know how many models that use premier have looked at the results at the end of the day, and compared the results to regular chat. Do they still get the same number of minutes in pvt?

I wouldn't be surprised if they got enough shows in regular chat to offset the lower price.

I know I've seen one of my long time favorites in premiere, now I just think of her as "out of my league".

The "super" models that have been around for "ever" or the ladies that are always in private, hell go 4 it, and hopefully y'all are reaping the benefits. I understand that it has to do with the quality of the camera, and for the ladies who have to buy their own equipment, it seems like a nice enough reimbursement plan, there are always gonna be some clients who are gonna dive in, no matter what the cost, lol addiction is a terrible thing. :thumbsup

but... for me, premiere makes me hesitate on private-taking, which is good i think, its like whoa buddy, here's a reminder to have a little self control.

As for flirt's newer models, again the camera equipment might play a factor, as well as migration from other cam sites, maybe they have been in the biz for awhile without being on flirt (although I don't see how that's possible given flirt's reach and enormity :guitar

) but i don't think going premiere in the model's 1st week of flirt is the best sales tactic. Build a base, make some dummies fall in luv, hit that 500, 1000, 2500 credits earned mark before you play in the deep end. just my opinion.

inflation is a fact of well, capitalism, and if one day the price of a private jumps to 1.5 credits per minute site-wide, maybe there will be a bit more of an offer than just an HD pic, say- frequent buyer rebates, 1/2 price days, contest "sales" with more options in discounts, longer VOD ownership... something to offset the cost.

First, I'll simply say that I've never taken a Premiere private, so I can't say anything about quality of show or anything like that.

When Premiere first started, I thought it was a bunch of bullshit. Other than the golden curtain, there was hardly any way to tell you were going to take a Premiere model private. They've addressed most of those concerns for me. It isn't hard to tell who's Premiere any more.

I can understand when new girls get Premiere. Most of the time, it's because the girl already has some sort of celebrity status in the adult industry. Thanks to this site, I got to talk to some of my favorite porn actresses.

For me, taking a girl private is limited to a special occasion only. I really only do it when I've accomplished an important personal goal. This is because after so many years of being on here, I've made all the mistakes that led to my list of rules. I overspent and went into serious debt over this site. So, I'm trying to be more conscious of how I spend my time on here. My point is that I don't need a special section that costs more to make my time with the girl feel special.

As I said, I can't say anything about the quality because I've never done a Premiere private. I will say that one of the deciding factors for me is that for 30 minutes with a 'regular' model, I only get 20 with a Premiere. I know there's probably a 'quality over quantity' principle going on for some of you, but for me, missing out on 10 minutes with one of my girls is a tragic loss.

Finally, at least to me, there seems to be a disproportionate ratio of American Premiere girls to European ones. Although, there's probably no way to really right this since the american girls are still largely a minority on this site. I know the decision at who gets to be premiere is a studio decision, but there are many girls who have been here for years, who pull in steady privates and aren't residents of the USA who I think aren't being given their fair shot at a Premiere gig.

well all the planets have to be in line for the premiere since both model and the customer have to have the best of connections and cam. i really cant see spending 50 percent more for my use. most of the models in premiere dont even have good enough cams to warrant it. also the us models dont even offer phone just audio which they offered in regular i dont see why i should pay that much more for the same stuff just my :twocents

never will take a model to premiere and if the site goes to all that i wil move on
i thank all the models being in premiere for helping me save my $$$$

They have been doing a lot of promotions where you get the 9% off or 10%, that helps with the premiere costs a little. There is some really good info in here, good opinions. At least flirt has given the customer many choices for the :twocents

There is something for everyone here depending on what a person wants. On a quick side note... it is nice to have you and the other models voice their opinions and join in on the games in the forums. Let me throw yet another perspective on the "Premiere" aspect. When I started working on Flirt 4 Free, I quickly built a "fan" base--meaning I acquired regulars and folks who merely liked to "hang out" in my room. We have discussions on politics, current events, music, sports, etc. So I developed a cozy little rapport with many of these wonderful people, but the spamming in traditional chat became quite an annoyance, and it very much injected a negative vibe within the confines of my room and affected the flow of dialogue.

I took the jump to premiere knowing full well that I was going to be disappointing folks, but the spamming and grey abusive behavior became such an annoyance; not only to me, but to my regulars. I am happy in premiere. The quality of video is better, my audio is more sensitive, and I experience less connection issues. My true customers "understand", and have remained with me.

Methinks that Premiere will somehow become oversaturated with models, almost like a pyramid scheme. I am sitting back and watching the decline of Premiere. I surmise that there will be a 50/50 distribution of models performing in both arenas. Food for thought.

I agree with Heather. While I have not been here very long, I feel that if you have the numbers to back up the transfer from standard to premiere then it should be up to the discretion of the studio and the model. While the prices for premiere are more expensive, models do not go there for just that reason. It is an escape from the spamming and the rude and obnoxious grays. We as models are suppose to bring happiness and a sense of euphoria to the members and that is extremely difficult when you have some one who won't even purchase a membership hurling derogatory comments at you simply because you will not show them the never ending "hand bra." I spend a lot of my time chatting to the members and I do not expect a private from everyone that comes into, most of the time, I enjoy the conversation itself. The quality of the conversation seems to exceed the quality of conversation in standard only because there is not gray hijakers taking over the room. This experience for us models is just like every other aspect of our lives; if we are not happy or too stressed out, we will not enjoy ourselves and in turn, the members will not enjoy themselves. If we can limit the amount of stress in our rooms, that makes the quality of not just the private shows, but the quality of the room is increased tenfold. This is simply my :twocents

. What some people tend to forget is that we are definitely not wind up dolls with no emotion and it only sometimes takes one nasty comment to push us into a major funk and then the rest of our shift and possibly our week is knocked off course.

i'm with heather too, everytime i think "it's time to go premiere" i look on the site and see a long list of girls in premiere and none in a show. some girls start there, some have to "earn" it (it all depends when we signed on). and lets not get into the confidence issues of being in prem or not. i'm thinking the site may split into another premiere site and regular, plus videochat which is "bargain chat". not to demean anyone there but that's how it was developed.

I don't like being bored and at the end of it all i'm here to have fun. I get right down to business and don't milk guys for minutes which would also be a good habit at a $9 rate, but it all comes back to getting bored. when girls switch ratios do go down and when i'm not cumming i'm not happy and when i'm not happy no one wants to cum with me.... what a vicious cycle!!

in a way i think i'm doing myself a disservice by being in standard, i have international phone, i have a great cam and very fast connection. sometimes i look on the site and i'm disappointed with how my cam looks because it looks so much clearer and faster on my screen and i KNOW my connection is fast because i check my stats. premiere streams have priority on the servers so they have less breakups and stuttering. once in a while my cable blinks out in a storm but usually any cam issues i have are due to the server connection. I know i could provide a better service, but i hesitate because of the protests and the friends i'd lose.

i guess i'm a deal.

I love Premiere because no spamming or insulting greys.

I am doing as well if not better in Premiere as far as shows go.

I had to work my butt off and spend a LOT of money on broadcast quality equipment to make it to Premiere Status.

It was NOT handed to me on a silver platter, rest assured.

I worked for it and I am going to use it as long as I get shows, which I am doing right now.

Tiff you for sure earned it, I know of other models like myself that have earned it and have the option but don't use it. There are some that are too excited to make the switch once the option appears for them, and then switch back. i think models that were here before it started view it differently and have made larger bases in standard. As models we're always growing but it's different to make the change when you're still growing and building a following rather than after you've more-or-less plateaued.

i can get in the top 20 in standard (when i have enough time heheh) so i'm at least doing as good or better than some in prem

coming back from the beach (and back to the real world) tomorrow!

This is an excellent and very interesting thread.

I think Sugg's ideas are BRILLIANT - at the moment it seems as though all the models are being told something different with regards to how to achieve premiere status. I've fulfilled one model's requirements (that she was told) but not those of *my* manager, so no premiere option for me.
I've been here for a year and a half and I've worked as a performer for almost 4 years now. Many of my regulars have followed me here from other sites where they now pay more than twice as much to see me - and that's in standard chat.

IMPO some models genuinely deserve to be there and are worth it. Others, perhaps not so much. It is unfair that there is no standard selection process to give everyone an equal chance, and that long-term loyalty to the site isn't necessarily always being rewarded as it should.

A room without greys, beggars and insults does sound like my idea of heaven but on the other hand, I've heard that many members don't see a huge difference in vid quality. Of course some do. There are always variables.

As for me, I'll stay in regular and keep on having fun. :evil

I am going to be doing a very unique show for one of my regulars and another of my regulars wants to view it at the same time.

I do not plan to do Premiere for the show since so many others are interested in viewing the show.

Ive had Permiere under my account for a long time, I just have never used it til now. Im 50/50 about premiere, since I have only done it a couple days I dont have too much of a opinion on it now but I have heard the quality picture looks way better and I can tell the speed is faster. What guy doesnt like HD?
