I really wanted them to win at home. I thought magic would step it up a notch and win that last game. I totally wasnt prepaired. I would have been at the bar instead of at home. So much more fun when the whole bar is filled with Laker fans going crazy.
guess orlando didn't feel like flying again this year... now you should try watching them in a bar when the lakers are losing games. yep, cause los angeles fans are VERY loyal to their teams, even in the bad years.. i mean look at the raiders for example: they were having a few losing seasons and.. oh yea, they moved the team out of the city!!
midwest/east coast loyalty is where its at. if you're a pistons, bulls, celtics, knicks, cavs, nets, pacers fan then you know what i'm talking about! the staples center holds almost 5,000 less people than the palace of auburn hills where the pistons play and the pistons still sold out 256 consecutive games.. and remember people in detroit are the hardest hit by the economy right now and STILL found a way to support their team. we can talk all the shit we want about los angeles winning, but 95% of those fans are band wagon for sure who would barely be able to tell you the starting line up, let alone who anyone else on the team was!
so lakers "fans" enjoy your victory. i'm glad that you were able to find someone else's back kobe could jump on (fisher, bynum) so he could FINALLY win one without shaq leading the way. we could discuss this further but i don't know if most of the fans would know who either one of those guys are...
