I was just wondering, how many of you guests and performers are for or against the old competition rules, where every performer could win the competition and get the bonus even with no VOD up in BIO.

Just place FOR or YAY if you are behind the old rules

or

Place AGAINST or NAY if you are against old rules

would be interesting to see the outcome, don't you think?!? :winkwink

This is not a democracy. Flirt4Free doesnt't make decisions on competition rules or anything else based on what a few contributors to the forums say

Flirt4Free makes all rulles for its contests
It did seem VERY unfair they used Sheryl on Red Panty Party to buy time :twocents

If Flirt4Free could even have 2 categories for female models - 1 for VOD and 1 without VOD - for contests even . Many of the models who do not have VOD remain top performers and should be rewarded in my opinion somehow :twocents

It is not just the ability to win the prizes in contests that models who dont do VOD miss out on but also all monthly bonuses. It's not that much maybe about 250+ a month I have lost since VOD started. Also, knowing that Im not that important to the site has made me be here less I have to admit.

However, I still choose to be online during contests for the simply fact that I like my friends to be able to take advantage of the discounts they can get - it's a nice thing that the site has done.

The amount of the prizes are usually only 1 or 200 $ extra, so it's not a huge deal. Really, webcamming success is dependant on how much time you are willing to put into making it successful - it's like any job really, you have to start somewhere and the harder you work the better you will eventually do.

Being online during these special events is fun and a great way for newer models to get noticed in highlighted catagories - you should take advantage of that!

Of course, for long standing models it would be nice to be able to get extra bonuses. I remember a few Christmases ago F4f gave their top girls really beautiful bracelets from Tiffanys! Wow that was soo nice and made me feel really great for being so loyal to the company and made me want to work a lot harder for them too.

Extra incentives are always nice for employees. When you start to see the people who work hard for you as only money makers they tend to get a little disheartened.

I think it's great that f4f is offering these extra incentives - but yes, I agree that is should be done in a way that is fair to all models. Therefore, I vote yay to contests and yay to having our bonuses reinstated!

i think the rules are correct. if a model cant share her vods so we can get a break when times a hard dont let involve them in the bonuses when times a hard. its a 2 way street. :twocents

I honestly don't think it�s fair to include VODs in these contests. I mean these contests only span performances during a certain time frame, so it stands to reason that the contest should only be based on live performances during that time frame, which would exclude many if not all VODs. I say many here because if the contest is more than one day or if a model performs early in the contest those early VODs occurred during the contest time frame. If a model happens to be new they would have no VODs, which would put them at a disadvantage. I know it�s a bit unlikely that a new model would win a contest like this since not many customers would know them, but at least give them a chance to win. Also, both we the customers and the model, I think the model can make certain VODs private which again changes things because the model has at least one less VOD to pick from. I understand that VODs would only make up a much smaller percentage of time, but 50 people watching VODs could make the difference between first and second place. Also those VODs could have been from months ago if not longer, so why should they count towards �today�s� contest?

My only other complaint about the use of VODs is that there are plenty of great models on here but they only work �part-time�, which is their option regardless of the reason so allowing VODs for them and excluding VODs from the �full-time� models would make sense as well. Again, VODs would only make up a small percentage, but at least the �part-timers� would have a little more of a chance to win. I know, what's a "part-time" and "full-time" model? Well, there are some models that can spend all day on here earning contest credit, so perhaps a model working more then a 6hr shift in a single day or some other "reasonable" shift time should have their VODs excluded from the contest.

Just my thoughts.

All is fair as to how the rules are set up[as Flirt4Free does not care about informal Poll] . Play hard and win !
Some of the popular models without VOD have won many contests[most I think]
They do "Multi-user" and "Premium" . They fight harder under the new rules and adapt to win .

i think it is tatlly fair that models without vods cant be in the contest i didnt want my vods up but was too late to tell them no i think that models should get there bonus at least though but with me havin vods i have noticed guys will re watch there show a few times before they get a show again so models without vods are still sellin if not more shows becasue they dont have there vods and models with vods lose a few shows here and there becasue guys are watchin there vods instead of goin prvt i mean if the girls without vods want to compete in the contest then have your vods put up like everyone else wasnt there a letter sent to everyone or email sayin if u choose not to have them then u cant compete in contest if you wanted to compete then u should have not said you not want vods up right?

when I 1st came to f4f they paid u 75.00 for a 3 hour shift regardless of if you were a model in pvt the ENTIRE time or never in private once! They recorded all 1on1's and the models got absolutely zero for that. You ladies have it pretty good now I think lol. Trust me I have definately put my time in and believe it is only fair I get treated accordingly. When you grow with the company like I have it is always a little upsetting when youre used to doing things one way then they change overnight. These changes are usually great, but not all of them are something I am happy about.In all reality, VOD should get you even more traffic into your room. In the 1st days of VOD I made an amazing revnue and I didnt find it affected my pvt time at all. However, it was when my studio told me I had to give them 1/2 of the money I made back because they forgot to take a cut that I opted out. :mad

Im sorry, but VOD is not something the studio should be taking a piece of. The site sets it up, the model does the time therefore only the site and model should be in the equation.

Of course all models should be eligible. One with VOD does not work more or less than one with out VOD. Seems only fair. I will say that I know Sheryl worked hard to earn her finishes in contests, even though she didn't get all prizes.

Sheryl is still the best!!

Its funny how i read the use of the words studios get a cut. Many studio partners put in long hours to see their models make it on cam. Ladies if you are that much concerened about what the studio makes as a cut off vod you should simply ask before feeding into this forum.you will be shocked at how little! the only people truly making out on vod is the customer. we are going through hard times. im sure you ladies notice some of your regs not going private as much. its not that they found another model, its simply hard to spend hrs in private when the bills are past due. in turn the customer can still have you,yet cant direct his show, in vod. think about. some regs spend 8 hrs a week with u in priv. so now that they can only afford 2 hrs in private and watch vod when funds are low models want to opt out. i understand you have a hard job, just remember without a happy customer during bad times there will be no customers during good times... :bulb

After a pvt show is done ..the studio the model is working for is done with that pvt. The studio has nothing to do with the viewing of any VOD. They don't even do the recording. Saying that a studio is right in taking a percentage of what the VOD makes is like saying a recording studio that a musician uses to cut an album should be getting a cut in the sales. Unless the recording studio is owned by the label I don't believe they get any of the sales... . Maybe I am wrong with my line of thinking, but if a studio has nothing to do with the rebroadcasting of a pvt why would they deserve a CUT in the income, they done their part then and got their CUT when the pvt was performed. Making the VOD"S a requirement (when they choose) for contests is only a way for Flirt to pressure models into a very unfair situation with the VOD's. Flirt has removed this requirement for some contests.
