I'm sure you've heard already that Michael Schumacher will return to the formula 1.

What do you think about it, ladies and gents?

I am a Schumi fan ever since he started with Benneton and i followed his whole career until the sad day that he left Formula 1. After Michael Schumacher left i also stopped watching Formula 1, but now with his return i will watch Formula 1 again!!!! I so hope he does well and he ends up at the somewhere at the 1st 3 places in Spain the next race.

And yep, i still drink my coffee out of my red Michael Schumacher/Ferrari mug, lol

I would be disappointed if I was test driver for Ferrari but I guess they are playing it save and try to get as many team points as they can get.

So i guess Michael Schumacher will take over Massa's points, right? If so, Michael Schumacher has 22 points and Button 58. Six races to go and 60 points to gain, so it still can get very exiting, lol

Sorry to dissapoint you but he will NOT get Massa's points. So he can only help Ferrari in the Contructers Championship.

Schumie will start at 0 points - its been done before where a team has fpr some reason replaced a driver - the points are not carried across.

I think IF I was in charfe at ferrari what Iwould do is make Schumi act as a rear guard to try and gain as many points as possible for the constructors championship while keeping the other teams point gain as low as possible in an attempt to steer Raikkonen to the Drivers title.

I think it's absolutely brilliant that Schumacher is coming back to F1. He was by FAR the biggest icon in sports when he was still driving and in his prime.

True story...I was in Monaco for 3 days, I had the pleasure of being able to go on his yacht. Although I did not get to see Schumi, I was able to chill with some members of his staff....totally bitchin. I come from a racing background and used to drive a few myself. I relish the fact he will be back. F1 needs him badly!

xoxo

ps. I'm new around here....Hiya! Hope to meet a lot of new people..maybe even pick me up a boyfriend or two :winkwink

So Michael Schumacher will start at 0 points... Damn you guys! lol.

Ok, then we should get a mega crash "Spa Francorchamps 1998" style each race from now on, and Michael Schumacher is the only that drives away without a scratch on his Ferrari. This way Michael Schumacher gets 10 points each race and all the others none, lol

Those are the rules...

But I'm sure, the other drivers will get harder jobs in the coming races...

I'll reckon he will struggle big time for the first couple of races as i doubt he will of been keeping up the punishing fitness regime that frivers undertake PLUS look at how different the cars of the 2006 season are to the present ones

New ones are stripped of Traction Control, Launch Control, all the various winglets and chimneys for the exhaust that added to the aerodynamics which is also rediced due to wing and side pod design. reduced top end revs, plus other changes to rules and regs.

Those are the rules...

I know, lol

But anyway, since the bad results of Ferrari this season and with only 6 races to go with 0 points, so he's not competitive in the world championship. And besides that, he has never driven on the track in Valencia in a Ferrari which he has never driven and he may not test before Valencia.

For me it takes a real sportman in heart and soul to do this.

The Formula 1 was slowly dying and with the return of Michael Schumacher will make a lot of people watch Formula 1 again. I've heard that "Spa Francorchamps" is already sold out, lol.. So, the comeback of Michael Schumacher was exactly what the Formula 1 sport needed.

lets make a bet, lol...

I say that Michael Schumacher ends up as 3rd in Valencia.
