One of my favorite things to do is to chat with the other people in the chat room about what I like about the model/performers when they are in pvt and get other people's thought as well. Is that bad chat room etiquette? :twocents

I never knew members could chat wehn you are in private show. I saw this when I was watching a model and she went to pv, everybody was like awwwww baby, don't leave us.
I think is too bad models can't see what members write when they are in private. Sure, is not a bad etiquette, ( errr, depends what you write about her).Just my oppinion! :drinkup

As long as the chat isnt insulting or abusive when performer is in pvt of course it's not bad etiquette, the rooms I tend to visit have a group of regulars so when a pvt happens we tend to discuss all manners of stuff, music, mocies, plans for weekend, holidays etc.

I dont think its bad at all. You even might be able to kill time for the next one who wants to take the model pvt. And i think the (some) performers are happy to see that her fans waited for her and she doesnt end up in an empty room when she comes out of her pvt. :thumbsup

I was in another model's room just this evening when 2 people got called out or I should say warned by a "Studio Person" because they were chatting about the model in pvt and then mentioned another model. I was surprised because it was nothing but positive things being said about them which I think would be a good thing. Has anyone else seen this?

Was it a studio person or a F4F admin person? Perhaps individual studios have differing rules on this topic than Flirt.

I like seeing guys hobnobbing in a model's room while she's in pvt (as long as it's friendly) and would hope that the same thing happens in my room. It builds a sense of community and also means that members are more likely to stick around until I come back. :evil

However, I would suggest that people try to remain respectful to one another and refrain from discussing politics or religion or other potentially inflammatory topics. Speaking badly about the performer OR a different one is a definite no-no and no promoting any other model in my room unless I mention how effin' hot she is first. It's like any other business; McDonalds wouldn't tolerate you going in there with a bullhorn and promoting Burger King for long either; they'd boot you out.

It's probably a good thing though that models can't see what members are saying while the model is in pvt. I was able to see it on a different site I used to work for and once my regular room visitors were having such a hilarious conversation that it was VERY hard to concentrate on giving the customer a good pvt. I kept getting the giggles. :orglaugh

I was in carmin mays room when studio "called Out" the member. i think its unfair for us members to be speaking about other models,good or bad, while in a models room regardless if shes in private or not. Infact, you were wrong as well for coming into Carmins room under your model name. all that shows is you are trying to bring the attention to you and away from Carmin. If that wasnt the case simply use a name that isnt female based. Or better yet go under the name Mrs. Lickins :winkwink

You models work very hard to get your following. do you think it would be rite for lets say naughty may, carmin may, courtney may, and the other 2 dozen Mays to sit in your room under their model names? :bulb

going into a models room to promote either yrself if yr a model, or to promote a model if yr a normal chatter, is not welcome. Wether the model is in free or pvt -- Only time I feel its ok to mention a different model is when they are mentioned by the model whose room you are in. And then only discuss any modelst that she / he mentions firstly and no others.

I had customers tell me about users talking negatively about me while I was in private. i had both of those users banned from my room.

Also... my customers seem to enjoy exchanging recipes (im not kidding) while im in private.

im not sure what that means. lol

Careful what you wish for. I'm not sure you'd always like to see what happens in your absence. Then again, it might actually be a good thing so you could get a feel for who the people really are in your room.

All too often I've encountered guys who park in a room -- often that of a new-ish model -- and act reasonably nice, with the occasional poke for a peek or something. But the instant the model goes private, the chat gets nasty -- and not nasty in a good way, either. "Oh, she never does anything." "She won't. Never does." And then insults about the guy in private with her. "He must be gay. I'd be fukin her by now." Just on and on, rarely complimentary, usually straight out insulting. No recognition that not everyone thinks the way they do, or finds the same thing sexy or erotic (as if they even knew the definition of the word.) If the woman isn't completely nude inside of 30 seconds, then he's a fag, and she's stalling and ripping him off, and worse.

Generally the comments demonstrate that these guys think women are just meat.

Then the model returns, and their demeanor changes 180 degrees, and they're back to acting as though they're the model's best friend -- often to the point of squelching other conversation in the room.

Hey, I'm as much if not more of a perv than the average guy. But I think you can be a nasty, filthy, naughty, wicked dude and STILL be cool to the person your playing with. Cuz that's what it is, right? Playing? There's no need to treat another person -- in her absence no less -- with such disdain and disregard. It's so ugly.

Maybe I'm too sensitive or empathetic or something, but that's worst kind of thing I see on this site with any regularity. Really leaves me in a foul mood just to think about it.

this is something i almost touched on in another thread, many members out there pretending to be the good nice guy in free chat and waste the models time, and yes usually the new girl who knows no better, these are the guys we should be naming and shaming. the greys who begs are bad but these time wasters are even worst, the ones who went pvt 5 years ago for 2 mins they got free and now lauding it cos they got themselves a coloured name

I lurked here as a new model before broadcasting, and I saw some of the chatting that goes on when a model is in private.

I think it is fine for people to chat back and forth and most people just tell one another jokes or say positive things about the model. That is totally cool.

However, I have seen chatters who make negative comments about the model while she is in private, then when she comes back they change their attitudes completely and act like total gentlemen.

i dont think its wrong in any way i have a members acct and i also chat with the members in my fave girl room, and to those that are wondering i am in love with harley she is a magical gorgeous woman. Mind u i must add i wont say the name of the person that did it but accusing me of self promoting when i am in this gorgeous womens room really hurt me as i would never do that to her or quite frankly any model so seriously if u read this u really need to realise that us models do in actual fact get along unlike other sites i have seen where they will slag each other off at the first option to do so and that saying things like this are not actually nice at all, i also have to say to those that do know my members name and defended me against this person a big thank you as it meant alot when u did this muah to all and Harley mmm damn girl u and marilyn wowza wowza heheh :hitit
