we have a whole big long thread going in the VIP area about all the updates flirt has been doing to fix the bugs, but i wanted to address this one specifically in here. if you're still having issues with other things, try to use the report a bug button or check the other threads out. i might start a few more topics as well. but here's what we've got as the end-all fix right now. thanks again to purg for his endless technical support without putting us on hold for 30 minutes :thumbsup

Just another heads up for everyone they are now on version v3.0.47 of the flash chat there.

So to make sure you are running the latest version with the improvements and fixes, you can do the 3 following things.

1. 1st check your computer has picked up the updates by right clicking the chat or video and it should read Flirt4free v3.0.47 . If not do step 2 or 3.

2. This is one I like and makes sure you get the latest pages from the web servers. Clear your browsers cached files and cookis . In firefox you click tools Clear recent history and expand the sections and make sure the cookies and cache are selcted to be cleared. In internet Explorer click tools then internet options and there you will see browsing history, again slect cookies and temporary internet files and click delete.

3. You can hold down CTRL + F5 keys to do a forced refresh or hold down CTRL and then with the mouse click refresh on the browser. This will also make the browser get the latest updates from a site.

Will update you again when I see it get changed again to a newer version.

Also to add thank you VS for adding refresh video,chat and menu back in .. AND a huge thank you for making the model menu allow us again to open more then one room at a time with the right click option :thumbsup

here is also a topic i started in vip a few months back about lagging/skipping video and audio in certain rooms. here's purgs response. feel free to post responses and even your results of the speed test in here and hopefully purg can help you!

what speed internet are you on ?
use this and select the city nearest you for the test and then select LA area as a test too, then try UK London too..

Also you maybe getting throttled at certain times of the day by your internet service provider, some are now doing that to keep their service available to all. If they are doing throttling and packet shaping that may also be the cause of some of your problems at certain times of the day.. Maybe worth calling them up and asking them to run a quick line test on your connection also ask them if they do any form of packet shaping and throttling on the bandwidth.
Also remember when you open a private session the video is faster and larger .. meaning higher bandwidth is required by your internet connection, also your pc may come into this too if it is running a slow CPU and limited on memory you will also get stuttering. So let me know little more about your computer too.

And if you click on the link in freechat to use the alternative chat mode - and then go pvt - the show is NOT recorded

I havnt been having problems with audio but the cam was skipping a lot and wasnt that clear. That seems better now but I am still freezing in pvt about once a day where I have to log off and restart my comp. Its really annoying but a lot better then a week or so ago.

Some new fun aspect has been added, when you give a model a gift now it will also show in the open room you gave the model a gift in pink writing.

in some rooms my video will freeze for a few seconds and then catch up. this happens probably every 30 seconds or so. i've gone into a bunch of different rooms and this has been a problem in the past. i just don't know what else to do. it works fine in some rooms..

Well today you may have noticed the model menu in rooms is different ;)

Mostly tweeks and optimising the code so runs better for more people, I see it's getting more stable the chat on recent updates. So all good whatever they are doing really.

I would ask VS_Craig in the vip general section thread "The Great Bug Hunt!"
