idk how or why..
but i was going through my ipod today.... dumping music i have gotten sick of, and adding the new stuff i have downloaded... and i realized in all my doing this i have found there are a few select songs that never seem to die to me.

daftpunk- harder, stronger,faster (the only deftpunk song i like)

cat stevens- smile (comfort song i grew up on)

blind melon- it's not saine ( not sure y)

joe satriani- the crush of love ( not his best work.. but one of my faves)

and than a mix of korn and slipknot fall in to play and all the newest sodapop artists...alternative,country..ect.

what songs can you not seem to let go of?... no matter how horribly out dated they are. i admited my faults.. your turn!!! :orglaugh

Seems like every week I have a new favourite song and in few days I'm sick and tired of it :orglaugh

, but there are some song that will remain my favourite for life , maybe I don't listen to them everyday, but when I do is a great joy to me, makes me smile instantly.

My mom use to sing these songs to me when I was a kid and when I hear them now it makes me smile and sometimes laugh so hard because when my mom would sing them she always forgot the lyrics so I would have to step in and feed her the lines and on the Johnny Nash song she use to say "Icicles" instead of "obstacles" even after my sister and I would correct her she would continue saying Iclicles and we would just start laughing.

perhaps you could tell your friends to calm down a bit! i go hiking a lot in the mcdowell preserves and for some reason this year they've been out more than normal..

Some songs that I love are "Suspended" by Matt Nathanson and "Sea Breeze" by Tyrone wells.
