Hey guys, this has been a topic of some debate and so I thought I'd step up and say something since I'm not involved in the debate. We all LOVE the forums. I know I do; the games are fun and it's a great way for us to keep up you with you guys. But, like the chats, there are some basic rules to be followed.

Derogatory remarks or disrespectful tones No
Redirecting to any site No
Revealing anyone�s personal information No
Giving out non-Flirt4Free email address No
Using disrespectful tones with VS Staff No
Speaking badly about our site No


I'm sure there are lots of other things that could and should be in here but these are just a few basic rules that we have for the chats and should, and do, apply here.

No posting videos with obscene acts. (not all people will find them funny and may put people off).


No posting animated gifs with obscene acts. (not all people will find them funny and may put people off).


No posting of copyright material without the copyright holders permission.


Also please remove any code that links to other sites if you know how to do it (no hot linking). I know some of you are using myspace type codes that will link to the site where you get the code from but some of the sites are of a obscene nature not really something everyone wants to see. Keep the hot links in for the sites that may help people and show them where to get images and material they can use here that follows the above rules.


Just wanted to bring this up because we are starting to see some images and animated gifs that are not what all people want to see, some have clearly noted it and seem to put them off the forums. So let's remember when we post something we should make it so it is something everyone can enjoy and not be offended by.

Bumping this thread for the title and two addition reasons.

1- I hope in the upcoming weeks we as members maintain an atmosphere of politeness, respect and we do not forget to congratulate the models on the site. There is no need for pettiness, back stabbing or bring a model to tears just because they are one spot above our favorite(s). I can only guess the models do not want to deal with members causing problems. I am supposedly an adult like everyone else on the site; lets continue to act like mature individuals. I love the female models on the site, but I see no reason why I should not take the time to go congratulate models in the other categories during the upcomming event. If the above makes little sense, look at the 'top cam contest.�

2- I was amazed and shocked to the point of laughter when reading through a particular thread. I am not trying to cause problems, but provide an example of what I have seen recently in the forums. I was actually laughing while reading the thread because etiquette, common sense and decency were tossed aside. It was shocking the number of insults one particular poster directed towards others - the shocking type that make you laugh from the 'someone actually posted this!' factor. No matter how tricky, smart or ironic we think we are someone else will easily spot an insult (four lines of text had 5 insults, 3 of 5 an average person needs a second to realize the insults are racial, directed at one member). The actions of some members were outside the boundaries of common sense, and these members should know better.
For those who know what thread I am referring to, here is my opinion. Should we state what thread this occurred on - NOPE, this would only cause problems. Should someone report the thread or request certain posts be removed - in this case I say NO, the subversive racial insults should remain to cleary identify the guilty party.
I use the website to escape my real world problems, stress, etc. of writing and editing a 100 page document, making and editing slides for a 45 minute public presentation and then giving the presentation.

To the individual who just kicked me firmly in the backside � no offense taken. I am shutting up, time to decide which model to spend some time with in private. Quote

I'm glad I haven't broken any forum rules, done anything, and said anything wrong on these forums, too. If I did, then I would see a "Removed by administrator" on the threaded post, where I posted an unnecessary comment, or comments. If I want to say something on a threaded, post forum, then I think what I want to say before I say it. I don't just say something, and post it on a thread without thinking about it before I do it. This threaded, post forum sounds like it is a good reminder to be aware, or more aware of it, and about it. Quote
