I wish life was that easy mate.... simple reason why they can't allow that is the site is based in USA and in LA where the music industry is.. and as we all know how the music industry is these days and how many laws there is regarding copyright, intellectual property, broadcasting licensing... and the list goes on... The site can't allow any music that has been classed as copyrighted material and the owner of the copyright has not given written permission to use it.. As we see many internet radio stations have been hit with huge fines and even closed down if they don't have the correct broadcasting licensing in place. F4F is not a radio station but the minute any performer starts playing material that is classed as in the domain of copyright they can be taken to court.. That is the only reason why they don't allow it, they are not being mean or anything they are just trying to protect their company and stick to the laws of their region..

Hope that explains why you see some Admins of the site go in rooms and tell off performers for it, they risk the whole site being closed down by breaking these laws.. So performers please think before switching on your radio or sticking in a CD of your favourite artist.. you dont only risk a fine from the site but risk a fine from the music industry if they feel they need to make an example of you and they are taking even kids to court now as we see for breaking these laws.. So don't risk it, you loose your job and you may end up also harming the whole site and making all here lose their jobs.. It really is that serious, that is why the site put up music for you in the admins area > software downloads > music that is approved .

Also tried to explain why the site may seem mean in not allowing music that is not approved on their service.. They have their hands tied to some laws that the music industry is pushing hard on at this moment ..

"I wish life was that easy".. want to make a change go speak to your local politician and stop more companies in the future telling us what we can and can't do with what we purchased from them. Good example why I don't have a Iphone anymore.. They lock people out like me from installing what I want on it... It's my phone why can't I add to it what I like without hacking the thing to make it do what I want... got sick of hacking it everytime they released some new update.. and it went back to apple uk gift wrapped and with a letter saying I want a refund ... guess what I got the refund.. I can't see how a lawsuit against for downloading music illegally has anything to do with performers playing music in there room.

The first is what copyright laws are made for. although the way the music industry is acting has lot do with why people download illegally.

The second should be seen as free publicity. Me personally would buy a song a lot sooner when my favorite model is playing it.

And as far as brand names: who put those names there? If they don't want there names appear in public don't put them on your products.

Also always found the US legal system ridiculous in the sense of the amount of money awarded in a lawsuit, which has absolutely no relation anymore with the 'damages' done. And I'm sad to hear that the UK seems to go in the same direction. Quote

Greed. It's what happens to people who start a business and get the taste of having enough and more than enough. The problem with that, is that there is never enough. And I agree, Aries, about the psychos. They're everywhere, some are silent. Did you know gun sales went way up when Obama was elected? There is a serious problem out there, the good news is that people like you and I are fed up with the way things are in our world, and we're starting to speak up. There are lots of us that feel the same way, but a lot of them live in fear of retribution for expressing what they really think, therefore, they keep silent, because they don't want to be viewed as rebellious. A lot of shit needs to change in how we function as a society. All these rules and regulations are placed in order to keep the masses under control. Key word= CONTROL. Who's in control? A lot of people don't even have a clue about how controlled we are.

More and more of our rights to live as we choose are being taken away. When our world wakes up, and sees that we are not separate from each other, but are really all one as a human race, we will start to live in peace as we should. But until then, things will continue as they are, and get worse because, we are getting out of CONTROL!

We live in a world where it's all about money. The corporations use the media to tell us how bad the economy is, so everyone is afraid to spend anything now, because we don't know which way the economy is gonna go.
