thanks bart! i'm currently involved with habitat for humanity as well as toys for tots. every year around x-mas i organize the "tour for tots" where i schedule three shows on three straight night and the only way to get into the show is to bring a toy! when the hurricanes hit i went to the coast and helped out too. it's truly humbling to work with people who are less fortunate than you are. helps to open your eyes and see how blessed you really have it!

Greg,

You are awesome to do this :bowdown

and I hope that others besides myself will contribute to this great cause. I have a few friends and co-workers who are breast cancer survivors and a few who I lost - so I'm a soft touch for any and all cures.

Good luck I just got you $50 closer and I hope that others will step up and push you beyond the $250 you have left to raise. :drinkup

TOGETHER WE CAN FIND A CURE!

gdiddy, i think we need to rephrase! How about this?

Together WE WILL ALL look into our hearts and wallets and donate whatever we can afford for Greg to reach his goal of raising $500 to pledge for a cure for breast cancer. He is halfway there! If I can do it and "B" is too damn cheap to part with any of his millions, then I wonder why the good guys can't find a way to help. :twocents

Bumped up at 1.28am and one hour later this thread is lost halfway down the Forum Index Page and hides amongst the games etc.

G-Diddy, believing you are a VIP, have you thought of also posting this worthwhile Charity Appeal in the VIP only Forums where there is less thread traffic and in addition where there may be some monied angels :angel

who do not read all the Straight Fantasies threads or just need a nudge.

gdiddy - I'm repeating the general content of a post I just placed in the VIP General Discussion section. I am curious to know - how far are you from reaching your goal of $500 and what is your deadline? Last I checked, you still needed $250 to hit the target...

I'm a modest person who dug deep and came up with a $50 donation. Hopefully others will also generously support Greg in his campaign and meet his deadline. My contribution averages out to be $4.17 a month and $0.14 a day. Certainly there are others of you who can afford 14 cents a day for this worthy cause.

Thanks,
Duby
