it would be so cool if they could get flirt4free to work on a iphone or other mobile devices....now thats a real suggestion and niche innovation for VS to work on :thumbsup

no adobe flash on iphone and when they ever do put it on it will be some cut down version of flash, so only way that would work is to have a special server setup and write an application for the iphone to display the chat and video. Also don't think Apple would pass such an application on their Apple store.

With how many kids have phones, I would be nervous about that. Especially since they know more about the phones they use than their parents do. I know I would not want my kids to have access to these kind of sites on a phone.

on windows mobile using skyfire browser, flirt video and audio works but the virtual keyboard won't come up so you cannot chat

Not entirely correct....!!!!
You can make the Iphone run Flash Lite...there is a way cause I've done it ~~~ I am able to view a couple of other sites that have software for your phone that uses flash lite even though they are flash running sites like F4F......just need to install the phone based program if they have it...both Skyfire and Opera mini utilize flash 10 now in a unique way which enables you to see any site provided that your phone is able to except 3rd party software.On my new phone I can view F4F with little or no problems...and if I'm not mistaken F4F did at one time have some version where you could view it on you cell phone....Hopefully F4F will come up with something new for the New Year !!! :winkwink

You jailbraked didn't you? Not recommended as apple will get angry. But otherwise unless flirt can pass an app through the apple store we'll have to wait for flash to come available for the iPhone. But even then I wonder how fast the battery will last since running flash can be processor intensive. Your credits might out last your battery life.

As for the comment about kids having access via their phones, ya that's a concern. But sadly they can access sites like this just fine at home, even with some of the precautions you might take. Hell, I remember being able to find nude pics on AOL years ago, long before the "internet". Or someone finding their dad's nudie mags under the bed or whereever. lol

Well se la vi....it's my phone..lmao...being able to install Skyfire would be the best on the iphone ...shhhhhh....cause it has a unique way of rendering flash sites ....you don't have to install flash on your phone to view sites like F4F.....thus saving your battery life.....try it u might like it....

LOL! I tried it, but every app seemed to crash on me so I gave up. Didn't try the web suggestions you've made but other stuff I wanted to checkout, plus I only wanted to do it because of MMS and a couple of other features that they've fixed since then so I don't need to now. Plus, as for this site, I'd MUCH rather have the larger screen of my laptop or desktop than the iPhone screen. :winkwink

Just to update users wanting to run flirt4free on mobile phones, phones I recently tested that worked are windows mobile phones with Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional and skyfire browser.

The 2 phones I tested are the Toshiba TG01 and HTC HD2 both with Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional.

Both phones use a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor (found on some net books too).

I ended up getting the Toshiba TG01 because it would work with the new 32GB Micro Sdhc cards coming soon (tested and worked). The HTC HD2 was tested too but showed some problems with the 32GB microsd considering it shows it will use microSD� memory card (SD 2.0 compatible) so not sure if it may just need a fix to work in future. Also the TG01 has a Resistive touch screen which I like because you can use screen pens/gloved hands on them and the HTC HD2 has a Capacitive touch screen which means it will only sence your fingers and if you use gloves and try to use the screen or anything other then your finger it will not work. Both phones have Resolution: 480 X 800 WVGA and I found again the screen on the TG01 was nicer quality video wise and colours sharper and brighter. The only thing that lets the TG01 down is it has a lower mega-pixel camera and I hate the cameras on mobile phones anyway so didn't bother me and the screen on the HTC HD2 is bigger by .2 which was funny it looked smaller when both phones where next to each other. Both phones are great really just liked the Toshiba more because was thinner too and had no fussy buttons on front too which I dislike too.

nomoretats may need to set the phone to use a different input method or select a different keyboard option on the phone or again install a different keyboard device.

I got it to work on Toshiba TG01 with windows mobile 6.5 pro.

Expensive phones are required to run this type of site, don't know many kids with �500 phones :winkwink

, but agree the future will bring down prices of such phones and then maybe in the hands of kids, but by then hopefully parents know how to block such sites on their kids phones or some form of net nanny for phones.

Sex app shop for iphone .. so maybe at some point vsmedia/flirt4free could write an app for the iphone, seems some legal way to push adult apps now to iphone. So VS maybe you could write an app for the iphone users that show the chat rooms and the other features f4f has. Details are under here.
