yes, i m talking about the whisper feature that is available now only for members. That is not fair because:
1. maybe you have omething to say to someone , something private that should be just beetween you and him.
2. if u have a look on model s room, they may seem that they talk alone: " Nice to meet u, Matt" , and u just wonder how is matt cause u didnt see anybody typing.
So, who is pro who is against? Maybe this will bring us back the whisper, we need it, we want it. Guys, give us ur support! THX! :angel

To be honest I keep forgetting whether it's / or to whisper and end up typing outloud so to speak anyway, because of this I've stopped using the whisper feature

whisper can be a nice feature if used correctly like as camy wrote.
But It may lower the room's activity if abused

we have the internal message system and the pvt show for talking about private stuff

I guess it may be something we can sacrifice on the altar for better rooms

I guess there are pros and cons to this. I was wondering how the whisper feature worked. I suppose I should go read the guidelines again. You are right, if there is a whisper feature, you should be allowed to have it also. I have noticed with certain rooms, that it appears that the model is typing away, but nothin appears on the chat screen. So if you can't have whisper, that means she is chatting on messenger or something else,and not really paying attention to anything being said in the chatroom here. Some of us may find that as rude or ignorant. Maybe it's not such a good feature if you are trying to gain new customers. It is a thought to ponder. And if we really want to say something in private to you, wouldn't the email be sufficient? Unless, of course ,nobody checks their mailbox...Interesting question

yes unfortunately in the past it has been badly abused in some cases... and now the guys who whisper know that you can't whisper back, so the response is vocal back to them (or in some cases typed) seems to work ok for me.. meh dunna care, is all good for me and just my :twocents

It's a pity, there is a place for the whisper, but it's been so abused over the later months that nobody could tolerate certain rooms (was the model working a different site concurrently? Am I the only one in the room?). It's a great tool to tell the model that occassional private comment, or for the model to show a little private attention, but I think most people who were around with whisper would admit, it got very out of control, something had to be done.

If the developers want to work on a timer system, (the system will send you a flooding message if you use multiple characters/punctuation, it can't be that hard) to limit the number of whispers a guest or model can make to each other... once every ten mins? then the chat should remain lively, the models can still say things they want to say without requesting a new private every half hour, and the guests get 99% of what they want to say out in the open. It should have only ever been used as an occassional tool to enhance the chat, and not replace it.

I miss the whisper mode for models too. I dont think only members are allowed to use it. The whisper mode was always good when a model needed to tell you something personal without the rest of the room knowing. No personal information just personal thoughts. :twocents

Thx so much for the support guys, maybe this will help to bring us the whisper back. Hopefully, there will be no more abuse, and honnestly i have many members that whisper all the compliments ( WHY GUYS, SAY IT OUT LOUD, SO OTHERS CAN SEE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ME). :angel

This thread was beat to death in the vip general discussion forum.Whisper isn't coming back for the models as it was horribly abused and would surely be abused again if it was restored.

abused by some models whispering 'hi take me pvt' as soon as you enter a room and BEFORE the video feed is running, models not talking to anyone in open EXCEPT by whispering, and if you didnt whisper to them some actually were banning you from their rooms.

IF whisper is bought back as a 2 way thing it needs to be ina highly refined process that is monitored correctly otherwise the same mistakes of both chatters and models conversing in nothing but whisper will happen again.

if some girl whisper me take me pvt before i even got to know her i ll be saying bye bye and making a note of the name to not return, at the end of the day she is working here, and we are her customers so to speak, if thats the way she works, im afraid she prob wont get very far here. the smart girls would know how to keep us happy

Whisper for models AND members in MODERATION is good .

Models who asked for private immediate and hid behind whisper to work oher sites caused the whisper to no longer be available .

It may be time to "trial" whisper for somr models after they have worked 1 - 3 months .
Many new models now ask "Let's go private" in open before a member can say "Hi/hello"

Blank conversations in rooms made for LESS privates . Trial of models using whisper sounds ok with moderation being the key :twocents

Yeh i agree with Suggs there , straight out lets go pvt , i'm off ... myself i am pretty shy , but also i feel that if members are able to whisper , the entertainer should be able to whisper . You either cancel it out completely or allow both to whisper . But thats how i feel when it comes to the whisper .

Having a few girls running multiple windows to different cam sites doesn't help either . Some members maybe feel they are being ignored but is probably because of the entertainer chatting to another site .
Thats maybe where some abuse comes into it .

Yep, moderation on both sides is the key. I do whisper a line to a model once in a while, because it is for her eyes only. However, you sometimes see the model trying to carry on a conversation with the room and she constantly is answering or replying to a name you do not see, who for some reason thinks everything he says needs to be hidden from the room. It is also kind of obvious right now when a model keeps typing and typing and no words appear that she must be on ICQ, Messenger or another site. So to know that they, like us would be limited makes sense.
