Usually I'd post a suggestion like this on the performer forums, or e-mail VS directly, but I wanted to get feedback from customers as if they agree this would be a beneficial feature...

I was thinking they could add a section to a model's bio, I imagine it would be called something like "My Best Shows" or something similar...

Anyways, I think they could use this space to feature 5-10 of the performers best shows, as chosen by the models themselves. I often see members on here tipping each other off on which VODs to watch, and as we performers our own worst critics, it is more likely we would select videos that we think are worthy to be in this section... Thus less likely to be videos of us just chatting, short shows, unfinished shows, and other unwanted surprises that members frequently come across when looking for a VOD to watch.

This would take a lot of the guesswork out of the equation for members, but still give them the opportunity to share their favorite VODs here on the forums. It would also making referencing a specific model's library of VODs a bit easier.

Right now the profile features our 5 most viewed shows, but actually most veteran performers would not choose these videos to feature if given the choice. This is a complaint I've heard from countless models. Those videos are almost ALWAYS from when we first joined the site and were very new, inexperienced, and often looked different. They could just delete this section, and replace it with the "My Best Shows".

They could also just move it to the bottom of the page, taking up the full width at the bottom, to allow for more space for things like a title (+ short description of the video if they could work it in), all right there in the performers bio.

For brand new performers without enough videos to feature, it could revert to what it is now until they reach say 25+ videos and take the time to title, and add descriptions of all the ones they intend to feature.

So... What do you think?

Ohhh Sorry. I didn't see anything like this suggested in January. Anyways, I just wanted to ask the customers what they thought, maybe my idea can be expanded on and they care share some feedback to make it as great as possible. Thanks for responding, Paul

I think they should replace the 5 most popular VODs to a "best of" section cause as u said it doesnt show the best shows right now... it actually shows the 5 oldest shows...
Keeping it like this the members are missing many good shows that will never be in the "most popular" section cause they are new...

So yeah! it doesnt need to be replaced ... if they want they can keep the most popular based in views but they reallly should add section where The models should choose their best shows and put it in their BIO page!!!

Many of the most popular VODs which have been watched 100s of times haven't been given a single positive review. Meanwhile there are some gems which are hard to find when a model has a large VOD collection. This sounds like the ideal solution. Quote

I am a bit concerned that one of the models whom I follow, Loren Sexy, now apparently has NO VODs at all (though I can apparently access it from my Show History). I hope this is a temporary inconvenience as the new format is applied site-wide.

In fact, it seems that the Videos tab found on the Bio page is entirely missing, though I know it had been there previously. Quote

Not all Russian models have videos available for public viewing. If you have a show with one of these models you will be able to access via your show history but no one else can see it.

I realize this is an old post started back in July, but it is still a very good idea. And, having customers suggest "Best Shows" is a terrific way of getting a list of shows that they really like. The only additional idea I might suggest, is that a customer must have either originally "created/requested" the show, or has "rented" the show to be able to vote suggest it as a "Best Show" candidate.
