Ok , hello. I've seen for few days a lot of members who use this sentence : "BRB someone at the door" , "BRB someone knock at the door" and they didnt come back. Why is this a reason for exit from a room ? Isn't easy just say goodbye ? LOL
I dont know if they use as a truth thing or just a excuse to get out from model room.

probably both. i'm sure i've used it as an excuse for the sake of good manners. a flat goodbye can seem rude too. but i've also had people at my door or call often. sometimes someone IM's me and saying "someone at the door" sounds better than "i have an instant message that i have to take."

I totally agree , but when you have more than 3,4 who say that? Is nice to hear that are good manners , but when 1 of 3 say that doesnt sounds good anymore Quote

Sometimes I'll say brb but then don't come back. But usually do come back. If I don't come back it's usually because I ended up not wanting to come back later. Like if I say good bye then come back soon after, it looks dumb. If I know I"m not going to be back then I will say Goodbye, but if I might be back then I will say brb.

hullo deafTN and why shouldn't you? Why should anyone feel obligated when a member of a mob, a member of a list of unknown connections on the internet, feel obligated to say either "Hello" or "Goodbye"? For heaven's sake there are so many more faceless strangers at the door at times I wonder how we manage to squeeze through at ALL!

Bon jouer, adieu, au revoir; delivered to those we are familiar with is mannerly and kind, but does the crowd in the theater depart in mannered grace when the fire is threatening the hall? NON! None do as they scream and shout and batter their way while stepping on another's face; they exit sans grace from any place.

It is a kindness, the observance of patient slowed acknowledging pace; a small tip of a dollar, a small hollah, "Going now to do some invented explaination." "Hello pretty boy or girl or tranny in process; it's nice to meet you. How is your day?" are departures and arrivals that take a both a brain and that far-too-short-of time on your hands. "Going to foreign lands my dear, I'll see ya if I ever reappear" takes much to state, why wait?

Now, as to you my dear, protected by me often, moodles, there's been a great deal of chat over the years, regarding your own randomly scheduled moments when you will appear. "Been on holiday" or "Been sick my dear", and sometimes you ignore all while cell phoning, ordering lunch, going to pee for several days leaving many of us, of your well being in fear. So be cautious in queries and questions and complaints; we all are impatient, some need to jack it, and *sigh* many just simply cannot hold it a day.

I hope this semi-rhyme finds eyes that understand, find minds open, arms wide, and perhaps a smile. All need to take a deep breath and perhaps cross their legs; the world is a hurried blur and far less mannered than we all once were.
