Hi I don't normally view or comment on forums. I say this with compassion and not in any way meaning offence but my viewing of the fishers is that they are basically promoting the other site. The site i was not familiar with, i can see that members here may wish to talk to adult porn performer but my sense is that is all they really want to do. I noticed once of the fisher models stating that very clearly he was here just to talk to viewers he had no intention of sexual play. I thought it unusual but at least he was eventually clear about that. I would probably not have tipped him in open if i had realised all he wants to do is chat about his work on porn. Anyway my 2 cents. I wish the models well and to each their own .

Sinbad - I am sure that Flirt4Free and Corbin Fisher are hoping that each site can help the other. I don't see any problem with that in principle. The Corbin Fisher site does (I hope) encourage their customers to chat to their performers on Flirt4Free. It seems reasonable for the performers here to invite members to look at their Corbin Fisher DVDs and video clips.

Since 2009 Corbin Fisher have been collaborating with major gay adult site Bel Ami(*). It would be quite exciting if there was some F4F/Bel Ami collaboration too. I would be very happy to see big name Bel Ami stars like Ralph Woods, Kris Evans and Mark Zebro here, and I think that stars like that do merit a position at the top of the Live Chat page.

The collaboration with Corbin Fisher could be handled differently. As stated earlier, I agree with Kheldar's original point that there should not be a host of performers called Fisher all appearing at the top of the Live Chat page. It is not fair, and it makes the site look odd.

A few nights ago the top 3 performers shown on the Live Chat page were Tyler Fisher, Taylor Fisher and Trenton Fisher. Looked like the Fisher triplets

Yes, Alberich. That sounds very fair, but may be too big a change.

At the moment all Adult Stars get a weighting of 100% in the algorithm which decides Live Chat placings. VS does that for a reason, so it seems unlikely that the Adult Star weighting could simply change from 100% to 0%.

However, I do think that only big name stars should get the 100% weighting: say those who have appeared in lots of DVDs and have a named DVD (eg the Best of Cody Cachet).

There are other lesser "stars" who may just have appeared in 1 or 2 scenes. They could probably have a lower weighting (75%, 50% or 25%).

It is easy and not a big thing to change an on simple elementary school math based code. Would take a few seconds to change and could be activated with one of those updates we never notice.
What I don't get either that there should be a weightening (that would be a little bit more challenging code as deleting the bonus) for having done DVD's.
Flirt is a chat side - and being porn actor doesn't automatically mean having done some more or less stupid porn DVD'S makes a great chatroom host.

Am not from the gay side - so all of those Fishers and Cody Gadgets are totally unknown for me - could be a reason why I don't get that they should be placed higher as Wile E. or Kermit the Frog.

If they wanna do promotion - there are better ways as hiding them on top of hundreds of unknown faces.
I agree with you : VS may have thought something with placing them there - but I don't agree with you that every idea of Flirt is a great idea

That is probably all that will happen. The 100% will be changed to some other figure, and Adult Stars will start to appear near rather than at the top

Cody may be amazing to look at and he may have a DVD but he probably got paid a tenth of what those Fishers get.

It's just a statement about the weirdness of the gay adult industry right now. The big bucks are in straight college boys talking about how they'd rather be with a woman.

I assume the Fishers are up there because someone paid for them to be there. From Flirt's POV does it matter? Do they care who gets the 60 cpm? Are they going to lose sales because the Fishers don't actually know very much about webcam modeling?

It would be awesome if they could apply a different formula by affiliate. This way the models brought to the table by that affiliate would sort to the top on that affiliate only. It would be something they could offer to entice new affiliate to join.

The entire top row is now Fishers. It's getting weird. Unless the site wants to rename to AllInTheFamily, perhaps some variation is possible?

Also, it's not fair to automatically sort Adult Stars to the top. They should live with the same power score rules as everyone else. There are a lot of hard working cam stars who put in many hours to get to where they do and this isn't fair to them.

i have to agree. this site is supposed to be amateur. the way i see it is if ppl wanna chat with porn stars, they should do it on their studio sites. plus it kinda shoots down the whole age range thing. lots of hot guys on here that arent 19 - 24. having a high power score doesnt mean much , all it means is that you blog, your post vids on the tube, ppl often give me high boosts when they couldnt tip, however, whats the point of being on the front page when someone on page 4 on a friday night is doing more paid shows than you? also, a final thought, these models put up with alot of shit. it isnt easy and it isnt always fun. the cocky ones who brag about themselves and how they make money just by sitting around probably arent very good guys offscreen. altho image can be quite alot on here. it isnt everything. cam guys have shitty days too, and you never know what next day will be like. attitude and energy can do alot, but some days you bring your A game and it still falls short. i sacrificed alot to do this, i spend too much time alone in my room, i dont go out much, always budget money back into the shows, plus all the stuff to buy to take care of yourself, the supplements the powders the vitamins, the technology, i buy toys and things i hope will do well in the show. all i can say is my poor husky sled dog doesnt understand why he can t lay around in my room all day, hell, i cant even listen to decent fun sexy music because of copyright laws. plus trying to please every horned up male that breezes in is just impossible. with so many labels and so many types, reaching an audience can be a gap or chasm, depending on the day .
