I dont stick around if I see one smoking. They're choice to smoke. And mine to not watch them doing so.

Sorry Adam, I beg to differ with your statistics. Second hand smoke is much farther down on the list of member causes of death.

#1 Spontaneous combustion from the intense friction of excessive furious masturbation.

#2 Massive cardiac failure from running out of credits a second before the cum shot in a private show.

#3 Accidental electrocution due to too much water-based lube while simultaneously using too many battery operated sex toys.

#4 Extreme shock due to your roommate/neighbor/wife/gf/bf/partner/mother/kid/dog walking in on you while on cam to cam.

If you just have to have a cigarette ... why not just take a break?

That's what most of them do, and what many studios require. A high proportion of Russian models are cigarette smokers but you rarely see them smoking in open room

Im a smoker ... I do smoke on open room . I do enjoy smoking sometimes ... it makes u relax and take ur breath .. not a breath of air of course but still ... Working daily for several hours its stresfull ... So belive me ... when a person gets into my room and telling me " Oh smoke its not good for ur health and etc ... " . TRUST ME ... I KNOW IT , I KNOW WHAT ARE THE RISKS . But seriously ... its not right to judge me for what im doing . This is what I do and this is what I am . Who likes me likes me the way i am , not the way they want me to be . For those FANS of " no smoking " please keep ur words for u guys and dont judge models . Thank you very much . And seriously i love this thread !

I think in the U.S. approximately 75% of the total population is nonsmokers. It seems that it is possible that the model/performer might want to think about this percentage when deciding whether to smoke in an open room. From a monetary standpoint, don't you think you would lose more by doing activities that the majority of the members don't want to see. I would never ban a model smoking but I think he/she would see the economic sense of not smoking in their room. If you just have to have a cigarette, joint of whatever, why not just take a break?

hmmmm.not to sound like a jerk, but if I recall correctly..one of your fav models..who is no longer with us...for well known reasons...ahemmm."chris"...was a top model and even broke f4f records..and he smoked in open chat. I don't think it hurt him too much in the wallet one bit. All I am saying is , if you have an issue with them smoking...please...just send them an email and do not make them lose money with tips or pvts because of your dislike or disgust over the habbit. Use this forum, as I have, to disguss the subject. :thumbsup

Interesting mix of responses here, including a couple of hilarious posts :thumbsup

Most comments seem to be on the smoking point, rather than on the lecturing point.

No model needs to put up with lecturing in his own chat room. If one or more members start to rant the model can simply switch them off for 5 minutes by using the "Silence" option. The members can carry on typing but no-one sees what they say. It is very simple and effective.

I am not only a customer in the chat rooms, but I am also a former webcam model and I smoke. I am aware of the health hazzards of smoking. And I choose to smoke. When I am in my own home I smoke. Telling a model all the health hazzards is not going to make them quit. I personaly hate it when people who think they know how to live correctly feel the need to have to tell me how to live. I don't know about other countries, but here in the US we already have way too many people telling us how we are allowed to live our lives.
Live and Let Live. Please keep your holy crusade to save us from ourselves for your soap box on the street corner. And a reminder, once again, you will not get any second hand smoke through your computer screen. Honest :twocents

I actually may have seen CH in his open room maybe one time. He was never one of my favorites and I never saw him smoking in his room. I did have a couple of interesting exchanges via e-mail with him but that was about it. So if the model wants to smoke and potentially alienate his guests in the room, it is certainly their prerogative to make that decision. After all, they are free agents in what they do, constrained only by the rules that f4f and their studio (if they have one) enforce. So f4f models, go forth and smoke if thouest wisheth!

My deepest apology didione...I was mistaken. I have visited some top models that do smoke in open chat and have done very very well on this site. As Ronnie has stated, it is not so much about the actual act of smoking, but respecting the room and not making it is personal forum. Use the email system f4f has, use these forums...even use twitter,,but in no way, shape or form, should anyone disrupt a models room to where they lose money.( and by the way.."CH" has smoked plenty of times in free chat) :smoking

I have seen, for example, Chad Fox, smoking in his room and have never mentioned anything about it. It just seems ironic that so many of the models are maniacs about working out so their bodies look great yet they are willing to do those same bodies inestimable damage by smoking. But, of course, it is a personal choice. I can't quite wrap my mind around the disconnect between those two actions. Anyway, I will now stop making any further comments on the topic.

Yeah, Didione. I was struck by the same thing.

Also wanted to mention Post #26 (Charming Edy) for his honest and heartfelt thoughts.
I think a few of the posts here were oddly frivolous, and a couple downright irresponsible,but that's what a forum is all about...different points of view.

I just wanted to say thank you for the responses to my thread....positive and negative. I am glad that people are using this forum to express their thoughts. This is the place it should be done...NOT in the models room. Again...this thread wasn't about whether a model should be smoking, it is about showing respect in the models room and not lecturing the model or members that ask a model to smoke in pvts or for tips. DO NOT LECTURE in the models room..Thank you all
